Governor of J&K - Manoj Sinha ➨Rajparian Wildlife Sanctuary ➨Hirapora Wildlife Sanctuary ➨Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary ➨Dachigam National Park ➨Salim Ali National Park 2) India’s National Space Commission has approved a new lunar mission, called the Lunar Polar Exploration Mission (Lupex). ➨ This mission is a partnership between India’s space agency ISRO and Japan’s space agency JAXA, and it will focus on exploring the Moon’s resources, especially water at the lunar south pole. 3) Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), in partnership with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), has created a joint venture named BEL IAI AeroSystems Private Ltd. ➨ This venture is focused on providing long-term product support for the Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) systems used by India's defense forces. 4) The Nobel Prize for Literature 2024 has been awarded to South Korean author Han Kang “for her intense poetic prose that confronts historical traumas and exposes the fragility of human life”. 5) The Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institutet has decided to award the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine jointly to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun “for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation.” 6) The 2024 Nobel Prize in physics has been awarded to John Hopfield and Geoffrey Hinton “for foundational discoveries and inventions that enable machine learning with artificial neural networks". 7) India and the United States signed an agreement aimed at bolstering the critical mineral supply chain in response to concerns over China's dominance in this sector. 8) The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced that the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry will be awarded with one half going to David Baker, and the other half jointly to Demis Hassabis and John M.
