Start seeing a luck of sun as a form of malnutrition. Getting sunlight in your body should be a part of your daily routine. Even if you live in more northern regions of the world where you don't get much sunlight, still try and get yourself outside and get SOME exposure to the sun. Or you could look into red light therapy, (which i will do a post on at a later time).
Sunlight is important for so many reasons. Have poor sleep? Wake up early alongside the sun, and get out into the sun. To help set a healthy circadian rhythm, go out and spend time with the sun while it's setting as well. Do you have problems with sex drive? Libido? SUN YOUR BALLS. Or at the very least, get some sun on your chest and on your back. Exposure to sunlight in these regions have shown to increase test upwards of 200%. Want to improve your mood, feel happy and healthy? Decrease the risk of ALL different sorts of ailments, from cancer to cardiovascular diseases. GO OUT INTO THE SUN.
"You’re literally a walking solar panel. We drink up the nutrition of sun rays and shuttle healthy light frequencies to the tissues of the body and use it as raw material to aid and assist with multiple biological processes. In fact Vitamin D which has received much attention in the past decade is basically a depot of captured light, like a battery. In fact our gut and microbiome receives the majority of its light frequency nutrition via Vitamin D (obviously because it’s an internal organ) which is why there’s a lot of vitamin D presence in our gut."
"The less sun exposure we get the more deficient we become with our solar nutrition, which gives rise to many of the ailments we experience not only in the winter but in everyday life especially if we’re indoors under artificial light more of the time than not. Full spectrum lighting is hardwired to our biology. All light forms affect our body differently; infrared light is therapeutic as well as UV light, contrary to popular and industry belief"
"While most believe sun exposure to be the primary cause of skin cancer, studies confirm melanoma cells are more often found in those areas not exposed to sunlight suggesting a protective role for brief, regular exposure to sunlight. This directly aligns with recent laboratory studies which have shown vitamin D to suppress growth of malignant melanoma cells in tissue culture."
But as is the case with most things, the health benefits are dose dependent. Too much sunlight is bad news: there’s a correlation between the number of sunburns you get and your likelihood of developing skin cancer. The trick is to avoid overexposure."
No one is saying that sunburn doesn’t exist, or that getting burned isn’t bad. But there’s ways you can protect against it that don't involve putting chemical slop that absorbs into your skin and then gets processed in the liver, all over your body. (If you wouldn’t eat it, why would you put it on your skin?) Take it from me, a blonde hair, blue eyed and (formerly) pale skinned male, my natural skin pigmentation is about as pale as you can get. You CAN spend long periods of time out in the sun, shirt off, shorts on without getting burned. Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in direct sunlight with no clothes on (or very little) helps. You can’t be spending 8 hours in the sun shirt off if it’s your first time, but you can GRADUALLY build up what's called a solar callus, or, what’s basically a tan. You can also eliminate seed/vegetable oils from your diet and other processed junk, and apply coconut oil to your skin (Has a low SPF, about 5) your skin will suddenly become a LOT harder to burn.
SUN EXPOSURE
Many people have been duped by bad science into believing that exposure to the Sun (The only reason life exists on earth. The thing that drives Photosynthesis, ocean currents, the seasons and climate, every single life form on earth would die without Solar energy). Are you beginning to see how ridiculous this idea is? That humans and all life that exists on earth have coexisted in harmony with the sun, but exposure to it is bad for us? That to go out in the sun we need to cover ourselves in chemical slop to protect ourselves from its damaging effects?
