🕋 _Bismillah, Allahumma Solli Ala Sayyidina Muhammad_ 🌹 *Insha'Allah as we are approaching the 1st night of Rajab tonight and preparing for Ramadhan's arrival*, let us resolve to turn back to Allah and to increase our devotion and loyalty to Allah Insha’Allah. Let us also intend to start the 1st day of Rajab (13 Jan Monday) with Istighfar, fasting, charity, and other good acts beloved to Him. May Allah accept us. 🌹It has been mentioned by Abu Nu’aim in Hilya from Anas Ibn Malik (Allah be pleased with him) he said, that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to make the following dua, when the month of Rajab came in: *“Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha’bana wa ballighna Ramadhan”* (Oh Allah, Bless us in Rajab and Shabaan and allow us to reach Ramadhan) 🌹The Prophet, peace and mercy be upon him, said, “There are five nights in which du’a (supplication) is not rejected: the eve of Rajab, the 15th night of Sha’aban, the eve of Friday, on the eve of Eid Al-Fitr, and on the eve of Eid Al-Adha.”[Al-Suyuti in his Al-Jami‘]. 🌹Rajab is one of the four sacred months mentioned in the Quran (the four months are : Rajab, Dhul Qi’da, Dhul Hijjah, and Muharram): إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السموت والارض منها اربعة حرم {The number of months is twelve according to Allah, in the decree of Allah, on the day Allah created the heavens and the earth; and four of them are sacred} (9:36) https://roseofmadinah.com/2023/01/23/virtues-of-rajab/
