1889 : 4 : 20 - A Legend Was Born. Happy Birthday Adolph Hitler.

In my research on Holocaust denial/revisionism, I found that its roots can be traced back to France, notably among French Communists who had fought in the French resistance against National Socialist Germany. It is remarkable that many of these French Communists, who held an anti-Soviet stance, believed that the Holocaust narrative was a tool of atrocity propaganda used by the allies to manipulate Germany and conceal their own wrongdoings while draining Germany financially. Paul Rassinier, an anti-Nazi Marxist Socialist, was associated with "La Vieille Taupe," a French Communist publishing house known for Holocaust denial. He speaks from first hand experience as he was a POW captured by the Germans and sent to a concentration camp. Because he was Jewish and partisan, he was put into one of the worst ones possible and despite this, he came out of the experience as an open Holocaust denier. Today, he is considered the pioneer of contemporary Holocaust denial.
