I am deeply disappointed to share some distressing news regarding the recent UGC-NET June 2024 Examination. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 18th June in OMR (pen and paper) mode across various cities, the integrity of the examination has been called into question. On 19th June, the University Grants Commission (UGC) received concerning inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C). These initial findings suggest that the examination process may have been compromised. In response, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has made the difficult decision to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination to maintain transparency and fairness. While a fresh examination will be scheduled and details will be provided separately, the matter has been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) for a thorough investigation. This news is undoubtedly frustrating and disheartening for all the dedicated students who prepared tirelessly for this exam. Such incidents undermine the trust in our educational system and create significant setbacks for the aspirants. It is imperative that those responsible for these irregularities face the strictest action to ensure such breaches do not occur in the future. Additionally, there are ongoing issues with the NEET(UG) 2024 Examination, particularly concerning grace marks and alleged irregularities in Patna. The Government has sought a detailed report from the Economic Offences Unit, Bihar Police, and is committed to addressing these concerns comprehensively. As a community, we must continue to advocate for the highest standards of integrity in our examination processes. The interests of students should always be safeguarded, and any compromise on this front is unacceptable.

Important Examination Updates The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination on 18th June 2024, across different cities in two shifts. On 19th June 2024, the University Grants Commission (UGC) received certain inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. These inputs prima-facie indicate that the integrity of the examination may have been compromised. To ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination.
