The law enforcement agency also found "incriminating" documents in the residences and offices of executive chairperson Pawan Kant Munjal and others. This comes a day after ED conducted searches at Chairman Pawan Munjal's premises on August 1 located in Delhi and neighbouring Gurugram, and also registered a case against him under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), reported news agency PTI.   Titan: Titan Company Limited, India's leading consumer lifestyle company, reported revenue growth of 19% in the first quarter of FY 2023-24. The total income for the quarter on a standalone basis was Rs. 10,306 crore, while the consolidated total income reached Rs. 11,070 crore. The EBIT for the quarter showed a slight decline of 2% on both standalone and consolidated levels. InterGlobe Aviation: InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, the operator of India’s largest airline IndiGo, reported record quarterly profit and revenue on robust demand for air travel, lower fuel costs, and favourable foreign currency movement. Net profit rose to ₹3,090.6 crore in the quarter ended 30 June from a loss of ₹1,064.3 crore. Total income rose by 32% to ₹17,161 crore from a year earlier. Vedanta: Anil Agarwal’s Twin Star Holdings Ltd, a promoter entity of Vedanta Ltd, aims to sell a 4.3% stake in the Indian mining company for ₹4,136 crore as part of the billionaire’s plan to reduce debts and transform his Vedanta group into a pure-play green energy and non-ferrous business. Delta Corp/Nazara Tech: GST Council decided to amend central and state laws from 1 October to ensure that 28% GST is paid on the full value of amounts deposited by players for betting on online games, casinos, and horse races. However, redeployed winnings will be excluded from the indirect taxation. The new regime will be reviewed after six months of implementation, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said. L&T Financial Holdings: Bain Capital has offered 7.9 crore share in L&T Finance Holdings Ltd for block trade for which the floor price has been set at ₹128.1 per share, reported CNBC TV-18. The US-based investment firm seeks $123 million through the block deal. On August 2, shares of L&T Finance Holdings settled 2% lower at ₹129.95 apiece on the BSE. HPCL: State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹6,765.5 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24. The company posted a net loss of ₹8,557 crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, net profit rose 87% from ₹3,608.3 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023, HPCL said in an exchange filing. Rites: Railway engineering and consulting company Rites Ltd is close to signing international contracts to supply locomotives and wagons, even as it explores consulting services abroad, chairman and managing director Rahul Mithal said. The state-run company has emerged as the lowest-cost bidder for contracts worth Rs1,000 crore to supply locomotives and wagons to Zimbabwe and Mozambique. FSN E-Commerce Ventures: Online fashion and beauty retailer Nykaa on Wednesday announced a slew of management changes. Shalini Raghavan, chief marketing officer (CMO), has stepped down, Mint has learnt. Falguni Nayar, founder and CEO, will now lead the marketing function, the company said in a statement. Meanwhile, the company announced a host of new management changes. Mankind Pharma: Mankind Pharma Ltd on Wednesday reported a 66% growth in profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 on strong domestic sales. Its net profit rose to ₹494 crore as compared to a net profit of ₹298 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2022-23. The company's total income rose to ₹2,637 crore in the June quarter of the current fiscal from ₹2,196 crore in the year-ago period, Mankind Pharma said in an exchange filing.

Top 10 Stocks to watch Today Maruti Suzuki: Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger car manufacturer in the country, reported a standalone net profit of ₹2,485.1 crore in the quarter ended June 2023. The company’s net profit jumped by a robust 145% as compared to ₹1,012.8 crore in the same quarter last year. This was on account of larger sales volume, improved realization, cost reduction efforts and higher non-operating income. Bharti Airtel: Bharti Airtel Ltd prepaid ₹8,024 crore ahead of schedule to clear part of its deferred liabilities for the spectrum acquired in 2015 as part of a plan to save costs. “The said instalments had an interest rate of 10% and have been prepaid by Airtel, leveraging much lower cost financing available to it," the telco said in a statement on Monday, noting that the amount was paid to the Department of Telecommunications. State Bank of India: India's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) announced on Monday that it raised ₹10,000 crore after issuing 15-year infrastructure bonds at the coupon rate of 7.54%. The bank said that the proceeds will be directed towards bolstering long-term resources for funding critical infrastructure projects and supporting the affordable housing segment. Power Grid Corporation: Power Grid Corporation of India announced its April-June quarter results for fiscal 2023-24 (Q1FY24) on July 31, reporting a decline of 5.9 per cent in standalone net profit at ₹3,542.7 crore, compared to ₹3,766 crore in the corresponding period last year. The state-owned power major's revenue from operations during the first quarter of the current fiscal stood at ₹10,436 crore, registering a marginal decline of 0.1 per cent, compared to ₹10,446 crore in the year-ago period. Kotak Bank: Kotak Mahindra Bank denied a news report that the RBI wants the private sector lender to pick an outsider as chief executive after founder Uday Kotak’s tenure ends in December. “We would like to state that there is no communication, formal or informal, from RBI to Kotak Mahindra Bank or its board members on CEO succession," the bank said in a media statement. GAIL India: GAIL announced its April-June quarter results for fiscal 2023-23 (Q1FY24) on July 31, reporting a decline of 45 per cent in consolidated net profit at ₹1,793 crore, compared to ₹3,250 crore in the corresponding period last year. The leading gas distributer's revenue from operations during the first quarter of the current fiscal fell 13 per cent to ₹32,848 crore, compared to ₹37,942 crore in the year-ago period. Adani Green Energy/Adani Energy Solutions: Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has released its consolidated results for Q1FY24, showing a notable 19% year-on-year increase in revenue. The company also reported substantial growth in PBT of ₹343 crore, representing a 70% YoY rise. Meanwhile, Adani Green Energy Ltd reported a 51% YoY rise in its consolidated net profit at ₹323 crore for the quarter ended June 2023. Castrol India: Engine oil maker Castrol India reported a 9% rise in second-quarter profit on Monday, helped by higher sales volumes. The Mumbai-based firm's profit after tax rose to 2.25 billion rupees ($27.4 million) for the June quarter from 2.06 billion rupees a year earlier. Castrol's revenue from operations increased 7.4% to ₹13.34 billion. Dhanlaxmi Bank: Private sector Dhanlaxmi Bank on Monday recorded a net profit of ₹28.30 crore in the April-June quarter, mainly due to a decline in bad loans. The lender had posted a net of ₹26.43 crore in the year-ago period. The total income in the first quarter of the current fiscal rose to ₹5,857 crore against ₹3,797 crore. Bosch: Bosch Limited announced their net consolidated results for the April-June quarter on Monday and posted a 22.5% jump in their net profits which reached ₹409.8 crore from ₹334.1 crore during the same quarter previous fiscal. The revenue of the company rose 17.3% to ₹4,158.4 crore during the period under review against ₹3,544.4 crore during Q1Fy23.

As per the exchange filing, TCS informed that Ananth Krishnan will be no longer in SMP from 31st of July 2023 due to his retirement falling in October 2023. NTPC: NTPC announced its April-June quarter results for fiscal 2023-23 reporting a rise of 23% in consolidated net profit at ₹4,907 crore, compared to ₹3,977.7 crore in the corresponding period last year. The state-owned power generator's revenue from operations in the first quarter of the current fiscal stood at ₹43,075.09 crore, marginally lower compared to ₹43,177.14 crore in the year-ago period. Bank of India: State-owned Bank of India reported its Q1FY23 results today. The net profit doubled for the June quarter. In Q1FY23, the company reported significant growth in various key financial metrics. Net Profit surged by an impressive 176% year-on-year (YoY) to reach Rs. 1,551 Crores. Operating Profit also displayed substantial growth, increasing by 72% YoY to Rs. 3,752 Crores. Vedanta: Billionaire Anil Agarwal said his Vedanta group will invest $5 billion in the first phase of setting up a semiconductor fab, a packaging and testing unit, and a display unit. The capital allocation for the project will involve a combination of debt and equity, Agarwal said in an interview. “We will be structuring it, because it will now be with the main company Vedanta Ltd, and Vedanta has a good cash flow. IDFC First: IDFC First Bank reported a net consolidated profit of ₹765 crore, 61% up from ₹474 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal. The net interest income of the bank grew 36% from Rs. 2,751 crore in Q1FY23 to Rs. 3,745 crore in Q1FY24. During the April-June quarter, the core operating profit of IDFC First Bank was up by 45% to ₹1427 crore from ₹987 crore during Q1FY23. Power Grid Corporation: The board of directors of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd approved fundraising up to ₹5,700 crore through the issuance of bonds on a private placement basis to part finance its capex requirement. The Indian central public sector undertaking informed stock exchanges and went on to add that the fund would be raised in various tranches during the financial year 2023-24 and the net proceeds will be used for providing inter-corporate loans to fully owned four subsidiaries. UCO Bank: State-owned UCO Bank on Friday posted an 80 per cent jump in net profit to ₹223 crore in the April-June quarter, mainly due to a decline in bad loans. The Kolkata-based lender had posted a net profit of ₹124 crore in the year-ago period. The total income in the first quarter of the current fiscal rose to ₹5,857 crore against ₹3,797 crore, UCO Bank said in a regulatory filing. Marico: FMCG major Marico reported a 15% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹436 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024. The company had posted a net profit of ₹377 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, Marico said in a regulatory filing. However, its revenue from operations slipped 3.16 per cent to ₹2,477 crore during the quarter under review from ₹2,558 crore a year ago. SBI Cards and Payments: SBI Cards and Payment Services announced its April-June quarter results for fiscal 2023-24 (Q1FY24) on July 28, reporting a rise of 5 per cent in consolidated net profit at ₹593 crore, compared to ₹626.9 crore in the corresponding period last year. The growth was driven by deterioration in asset quality and compression in the net interest margins of the company.
