A delegation led by Shri Sitesh Kumar, Second Secretary(Pol & PIC) visited Turon International University, Namangan and met Chairman Mr Akhadkhon Nazmitdinov and faculty members. Cooperation in the field of education between Indian Embassy and University were main focus of discussion. Sh. Sitesh addressed the students of the University. Artists from Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture presented Yoga and Dance performances.

Indian Embassy celebrated 163rd birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at the ART Gallery, Tashkent. On this occasion, a photo exhibition displaying the life of Gurudev was presented. The documentary film "Last Poem" produced by Mr. Suvra Chakraborty on the life of Guredev was played. Cd'A Mr Arif Saeed felicitated the renowned Uzbek artist Mr. Farrukh Zakirov who attended the event as the Chief Guest. Artists from Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture presented cultural performances during the event.

❗️Photo exhibition 📸 Embassy of India in collaboration with Uzbek-India Tourism Association (UZINTA) has organized a photo exhibition commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the first Nobel laureate from Asia, the writer, poet, artist, and composer. lt is also promoting an exclusive panorama of photography exhibition of the works of Mr. Hotam Mamadaliev, photo-journalist National News Agency of Uzbekistan focusing on the theme "India through the Lens of Uzbek Photojournalists.". Mr. Farrukh Zakirov, famous Uzbek artist will be the chief guest. All are cordially invited to the closing ceremony on 7th May 2024 at 5 PM at Art Gallery of Uzbekistan (2, Buyuk Turon Street).
