#lasik #Informational #Mediclaims advice from follower reply to the confession ihcp_1442 let me tell you my experience. Laser surgery is very simple surgery , I got mine corrected by DR. Arvind Roy from LV Prasad Hospital - Vijayawada. I'm on high power end. so, they have suggested me to go for PRK surgery. For PRK surgery it took me around 1 and half week to regain the complete vision. But trust me it's a painless process and operation will be done in just 10-15 minutes . I got scared initially, but post surgery, life is much better with out glasses and lenses. Things to do : Pre OP : If you are using lenses like I did, stop using them 2 weeks before the test, and 1 month before operation. Eat healthy diet. Post OP : First day relay on liquids , don't take heavy foods. Stay in a dark room for 2-3 days. Don't focus on bright lights for a week. From the 2,3 days of operation, eat healthy food , nuts , almonds etc .. it will speed up the recovery process. For 6 months, when ever you go in to sunlight wear sunglasses You may require 2 weeks leave if you undergone PRK If you are on low power end, they may suggest you SMILE process, that is simple process, you can recover in 2-3days. and LV Prasad Vijayawada doesn't have cashless process, you should pay cash and claim it back ,inform them you require documents for claim, they will give you all those. I hope this information helps.

#Informational #Tips #Mediclaims 1- For any type of surgery, in order to claim the money, the insurer must be admitted to hospital atleast for 24 hrs, and you can claim post and pre-hospitalization bills as well if within the limit. 2- There two types of claims possible : a) Cashless b) Reimbursement A. Cashless Claims is possible only in network hospitals, which requires 3 documents, infy id card, E-Health card, and any government id proof (aadhar, pan, driving license...) B. For reimbursement you have to pay out of your pocket first and later you have to submit proper proofs and documents and claim those money from Medibuddy portal.
