After some monitoring, it looks like the release of the new @AnonyMeetBot bot went pretty well! 🎉
Some minor issues that some users were having have been fixed.
The beta version has now been deactivated, it will be activated in case of new betas!

💬 A small Q&A from the feedbacks
Q: Why does the bot keep matching me with a gender I didn't choose?
A: If at the time of the search, the bot is unable to find a partner that meets the criteria, it still tries to create as many pairs as possible, because keeping users waiting in memory is resource-consuming. In the future though with the update, this may change, stay tuned.
Q: Why we can't change gender ourself?
A: Well, I didn't know that was possible do it with a simple button in real world 😂. But, a way to be able to update it will come in the future in case of errors.

❇️ Heads up! ❇️
The new bot is almost ready! I plan to make the change to the new one on January 30, 2021 ⏱. Unfortunately it will not be possible to keep the chats active from the old one.
Note: the new one will be an updated and better performing version of the old one, at the time of release, it will have the same features (they will be added with time!).

As some of you may have noticed, a load test was done on the main bot (in the least used time slot). Nothing was lost, now the legacy one is back up and running. This allowed me to gather some data, and things to fix before the official release!

TRANSLATE ONLY WORDS, EXCEPT THOSE BEGINNING WITH A COLON ":"! (those are placeholders replaced by the bot)
