Audio Transcript: From Boston to Los Angeles, from New York City to Chicago to Dallas, museums are either planning, building, or wrapping up wholesale expansion programs. These programs already have radically altered facades and floor plans or are expected to do so in the not-too-distant future. In New York City alone, six major institutions have spread up and out into the air space and neighborhoods around them or are preparing to do so. The reasons for this confluence of activity are complex, but one factor is a consideration everywhere – space. With collections expanding, with the needs and functions of museums changing, empty space has become a very precious commodity. Probably nowhere in the country is more true than at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which has needed additional space for decades and which received its last significant facelift ten years ago. Because of the space crunch, the Art Museum has become increasingly cautious in considering acquisitions and donations of art, in some cases passing up opportunities to strengthen its collections. Deaccessing – or selling off – works of art has taken on new importance because of the museum’s space problems. And increasingly, curators have been forced to juggle gallery space, rotating one masterpiece into public view while another is sent to storage. Despite the clear need for additional gallery and storage space, however,” the museum has no plan, no plan to break out of its envelope in the next fifteen years,” according to Philadelphia Museum of Art’s president.. #RL162M #HRB @phoenix129

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 Soft robots are a growing trend in the industry due to their versatility. Soft parts can handle delicate objects such as biological tissues that metal or ceramic components would damage. Soft bodies can help robots float or squeeze into tight spaces where rigid frames would get stuck. 🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺 #RA , #read_aloud #Pronunciation

✅Analysis: 1. In this sentence the main verb is “means”. A “gerund” act as noun in sentences, so it be placed at the beginning of a sentence to start a subject noun phrase; as can be seen in this sentence. 1. در این جمله “means” فعل اصلی است. یک “gerund” به عنوان یک اسم در جملات انگلیسی عمل میکند، پس میتواند در ابتدای جلمه بیاید و شروع کننده یک عبارت اسمی فاعلی باشد، همانطور که در جمله بالا دیده میشود. 2. In this part, “services” is a noun and after the blank we can see “offer” that is a verb. In this case we must know that there should be clause. In “that-clauses”, if “that” is used in after the main verb (here need) it can be omitted. So just we need a noun and a verb after “services”. 2. دراین قسمت “services” یک کلمه با نقش دستوری اسم است. بعد از جای خالی کلمه “offer” دیده میشود که یک فعل است. در این مواقع باید بدانیدم که بعد از کلمه “services” یک جمله واره وجود دارد. کلمه “that” اگر در جمله واره مفعولی قرار بگیرد میتواند حذف شود. بنابراین بعد از “services” فقط به یک اسم و فعل نیاز است که در اینجا “you” درست است. 3. We have to know that in infinitive structure (to + base form), sometimes, an adverb can be used (to + adverb + base form). By knowing this rule it can be easily inferred that after “always” we need a base form of a verb. By the meaning the best answer is “apply”. 3. باید بدانیم که در ساختار infinitive (to + base form) بعضی اوقات ممکن است یک قید اضافه شود. (to + adverb + base form) که با توجه به این ساختار به راحتی میتوان تشخیص داد که بعد از “always” نیاز به یک فعل به صورت مصدر است که با توجه به معنا “apply” درست است. 4. In order to answer this question, you need to know this structure: “to have + something (a noun) + base form”. This structure is sometimes used in academic passages. So in the blank we need a base form of a verb. With the help of “to” we can understand that “come” is the correct answer. 4. برای پاسخ دادن به این سوال نیاز است که با ساختار “to have + something (a noun) + base form آشنا باشیم. از این ساختار بعضا در متون آکادمیک استفاده میشود. بنابراین و با توجه به این ساختار در جای خالی نیاز به یک فعل مصدری است. با کمک گرفتن از حرف اضافه “to” میتوانیم فعل مناسب که “come” است را انتخاب کنیم. 5. We cannot always expect to see infinitives after some verbs. Sometimes infinitives act as a subject complement. That is to complete the meaning of the first part of the subject (here “one important thing”). By the meaning “remember” is the correct answer. 5. همیشه انتظار دیدن infinitive بعد از یکسری از فعل ها را نمیتوان داشت. در برخی موارد این ساختار به عنوان کامل کننده معنی یک فاعل (معمولا در قالب یک عبارت اسمی) استفاده میشود. در اینجا قسمت اول فاعل “one important thing” است که با “to remember” کامل شده است. 6. Here we can see an adverb clause. There are some conjunctions that are used to start an adverb clause. In order answer this question you must know the meaning of this conjunction (once) that is “as soon as”. 6. در اینجا یک جمله واره قیدی دیده میشود که با یک حرف ربط شروع شده است. برای جواب دادن به این سوال باید حرف ربط مناسب با توجه به معنا انتخاب شود. حرف ربط “once” به معنی "به محض اینکه" میباشد. 7. “article + adjective + noun” is a well-known structure that can be seen in most of academic passages. By the meaning the best answer is “wide”. 7. ساختار “article + adjective + noun” یک ساختار بسیار متداول در متون آکادمیک به حساب میاید. با توجه به معنا بهترین گزینه “wide” میباشد. #rwfib_SF.14
