Started thursday off with a strong 6 hour suiting sesh (on 3 hours of sleep too)😴💪 I'll be running around later today!

FC goers- i'll be in suit at about 8:30ish and so on-for as long as I can! Photos are encouraged, hugs are ok (ask first) and i'll have stickers on me!

i'm wondering if they messed up the sheen though because I ordered a holographic border (like the bottom sticker) but it is not rainbow at all 😭

my clay guy stickers came in and they came out comically larger than I measured. I just think he's funny

✨2025 Opal Mutt Year in Review✨ This year looked different- In May, I moved 2800 miles across the country from my small rural hometown in Georgia to a scary new city in Seattle and I started my life from scratch. My most important asset, my brand new AND paid off car, was stolen and totaled almost immediately after I arrived. I never closed up shop and I remained dedicated to my work through a huge stressful transitional period. My work space got smaller, but i'm adapting to the new changes. It's easy to compare myself to other makers with their 20+ suit collages. but I am just one young artist trying to make it in the world and survive adulthood while managing a business on my own. I wear multiple hats such as labor, prep & planning, communications, photography, shipping, social media, bookkeeping, making adopts on the side for extra income and doing much much more. I am constantly busy and pushing through the challenges so that I can keep doing what I love which is making art 💕 Thank you to every client who showed patience and understanding, your trust means everything. To any artist who feels similarly like you didn't do enough this year: we survived and kept going and that is enough. YOU are enough. Small progress is still progress. here are the fursuits I created while rebuilding my life (not including the abundance of small parts I made in between)
