Literature day at the school of kareode celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2024 with a guest of honor author Getachew Alemu, known for his eloquent prose and deep insights, emphasizing the transformative power of reading.
Getachew 's commitment to fostering a love for reading among the younger generation was evident in his promise to donate books to the students.
This gesture, a testament to his belief in the power of literature to shape minds, was warmly received.
As the guest emphasised about the power of reading he referred the Senior Ethiopian authors like Addis Alemayehu, Sbhat leab Gebreegziabher, Bealu Girma and he promised to donate books for students.
After the guest speech, different literacy works presented by different students with different additional chirography and art work.
The day was not just about speeches and promises. It was a vibrant showcase of the students' literary and artistic talents. They presented various literary works, each unique and reflective of their individual talents.
These presentations were further enhanced by the accompanying choreography and art, adding a visual dimension to the written word.
