Why did i take yesterday's trade?
Chart : EURUSD
1) Previous weekly low swept aggressively on Monday
2) Accumulation under weekly low after overextension to the downside on the daily chart
3) Weekly Opening Gap (WOG) is now the next DOL
4) Price confirms the idea after displacing higher away from (1) and (2)
5) Price fills the WOG | 1 514 |

| 5 | ✍️ Today's lesson : Confluences ✍️
Why did the market go for the lows aggressively on a USD Bank Holiday?
1- Previous Weekly Low liquidity buildup.
2- Perfect reaction off the OB Open in Premium on Friday showcasing that price is now very likely back to bearish orderflow, targeting (1).
3- Price swept buy side liquidity completing (2), which confirms that price is now even less likely to revisit the level. (this can now be considered a HRLR)
4- Note that we also have relative equal lows above (1). Uninformed money will likely assume that this is showing strength for price to continue higher.
5- The market opens up on Monday and immediately starts rallying up against the original idea of taking out liquidity under (1) and (4). At this point we start seeing (1) and (4) as LRLR.
6- CISD to the downside now confirms that the high of the day is likely in place and we should start seeing displacement to the downside.
7- Price finally takes out levels (1) and (4) on a USD Bank Holiday. | 1 579 |

Are you starting to understand how trade frequency and results are not linked?

It’s a job, not a hobby. | 2 440 |
| 15 | You don’t need to catch every single pip to make a living trading.
In fact, you must do the exact opposite. You must find an exploitable and most importantly repeatable process where you make your money and sit on sidelines patiently for the next opportunity. No rush.
Most of you don’t have a problem finding winning trades, your problem is not knowing when to pass up on bad trades and sit still.
This is the holy grail. | 2 890 |

| 20 | DXY Weekly Recap May 4th - 8th 2026 :
High of the week formed on Tuesday morning
Low of the week formed on Wednesday morning.
Why did price create the entire weekly range within 24h?
The US-Iran war news on Wednesday accelerated the usual flow and speed of the weekly profile creating the opposite end on Wednesday instead of Thursday or Friday.
How can we use this information?
Thursday morning, using the logic just explained above, i expected price to gravitate back into the range since i knew that the weekly range was most likely capped to the downside. With a low resistance liquidity draw (LRLR) i expected to see a reaction from the +OB Open marked on the charts to take us up into the LRLR, at least.
Using this idea, i shorted EURUSD once DXY tapped the +OB Open marked.
With NFP on Friday (i don't trade this day) i expected choppiness after price reached above the LRLR so i exited my EURUSD position and called it a week. | 2 205 |
