Explaining the rally this morning on US100 [30 minute chart]. Study reaction to FVGs and highs/lows.

US500 and US30 just ran their sellside liquidity, but US100 didn't. We know now that US100 is not as weak as the other two, but could we see this coming sooner? Look at the SMT on this chart. US100 makes a higher high while US500 and US30 made a lower high. By relative strength analysis, US100 is not as good of a sell as the other two indices, and the result shows exactly that.

MMSM Complete Notice how the bodies respected the SIBI I marked a few days ago. Only during the news release when there was a lot of volatility when price wicked up, but it was out of indices session so that wouldn’t have caught us off guard. Apart from that, our condition was respected and price sold off. Though the market environment wasn’t ideal, it’s nice to see the logic pan out.

My look on US500 tomorrow. Indices haven’t looked too clean so I’m not expecting a massive range day until proven otherwise. I don’t have a reason to believe price will rally (yet). If we keep respecting the SIBI marked and violating the FVG, we could look at sell opportunities. Constantly making if-then statements based on what the market is doing. View might change depending on overnight and morning price action.
