ESN Program

✨2022 year is coming to an end! With the end of the year, some of our ESN coaches leaving us. Maureen Rooney who facilitated ESN activities in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, Wendy Coulson in Samarkand and Jizzakh, and Jode Brexa in Andijan and Fergana will all be departing this month. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done for ESN program throughout the year. We appreciate your dedication, your hard work, and your unfalteringly investment of time and resources to support the personal and professional growth of Uzbekistan's teachers. We believe teachers gained valuable knowledge and experience, and will enjoy all the great memories you facilitated they made with you including cascading observations, workshops, proposal writing, one-on-one coaching, ToM sessions. ESN Coaches play an influential role in molding the teaching style of teachers and contributing to the building of a professional community by empowering teachers. Your incredible efforts are well-reflected in each ESN participant. We hope you will continue enlightening people with your contributions to the development of education globally.

ESN Core Trainer successfully completes Fulbright TEA Program In October 2022, Billura Ikramova, an ESN Core Trainer from Bukhara, successfully completed the 6-week Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program. Billura was selected to participate in the program following a competitive application process. This fall, she spent six weeks At Appalachian State University in North Carolina, USA, attending professional development seminars. Reflecting upon her experience in the U.S. she noted: "It was travel saturated with emotions and insights. CoP Competition #4: Creative Infographic Poster You have learned A LOT in 8 weeks! Show us what you have learned on a poster infographic*. Prizes will be awarded to 3 groups who: 1. Create the most original digital or paper infographic. 2. Represent significant knowledge and skills from the CoP. 3. Work as a team. *An infographic is a graphic visual representation of information intended to present information quickly and clearly.
