Fill in the nameservers as below, replacing "
ns1.yourdomain.tld" & "ns2.yourdomain.tld" with your domain name. Then wait for up to 48 hours for your changes to propagate.
2οΈβ£0οΈβ£ Go back to the Domain main page, beside the Nameservers tab, click on the dropdown and select Custom DNS
1οΈβ£9οΈβ£ Then, Select "
ns2" from the drop down and paste your elastic IP address in the IP address space and press done
1οΈβ£8οΈβ£ Select "
ns1" from the Add Personal DNS Server drop down and paste your elastic IP address in the IP address space and press done
1οΈβ£7οΈβ£ Click on ADD NAMESERVER
1οΈβ£6οΈβ£ Scroll down until you get to personal DNS server as shown below
1οΈβ£5οΈβ£ You will now reach the below page.
1οΈβ£4οΈβ£ Click on Advanced DNS
1οΈβ£3οΈβ£You will now reach the domain settings.
1οΈβ£2οΈβ£Login to you domain provider and access your domainβs settings and click on "Manage"
1οΈβ£1οΈβ£Goto your domain provider (Namecheap in this case)
Select your EC2 instance and associate the instance with the Elastic IP address created. Once that is done, you will now land in the below page.
Take a note of your elastic IP address as we will be needing it later on.
You will now land at the Associate Elastic IP address page.
1οΈβ£0οΈβ£ Go back to your Elastic IP addresses page and select the βActionsβ dropdown then select Associate Elastic IP addresses

9οΈβ£Go to your EC2 Instances in your AWS account and launch a new Debian instance. How to launch a new instance on AWS is beyond the scope of this write up so you can search other tutorials for how to do that.
You now have an Elastic IP on your account as shown below. You can give the elastic IP a name if you like.

8οΈβ£You will now reach the Allocate Elastic IP address page. Select Amazonβs pool of IPv4 addresses then scroll down and click allocate.
7οΈβ£Select the Allocate Elastic IP address button.
6οΈβ£After selecting Elastic IPs, you will now land on the Elastic IP addresses page as shown below
5οΈβ£Scroll down on the left and choose Elastic IPs
