Some are still confused. It's very simple and clear now. I ll explain in brief - 1. Scored any exemption in may22? Apply for permanent exemption asap. 2. Scored exemption after may 22? No need to do anything now. Permanent exemption option u have to take only after your 3 attempts from the attempt of your exemption have lapsed. For eg u scored 65 in sfm in nov 22 so no need to take permanent exemption for may 24. You have natural exemption till may 24 since 3 attempts lapse only in may 24. 65 marks will be counted. If u dont clear in may 24 then u may take permanent exemption benefit and from nov 24 onwards your score in sfm will be counted as 50 not 65. 3. Scored exemption in any attempt before may22? Sorry, u have to give the paper again like u gave in Nov 23 since 3 attempts lapsed and u already reappeared in them. @CACell

How apply for permanent exemption - 1. Open this link  https://pe.icaiexam.icai.org/login  2. Login using your SSP portal credentials. 3. Apply for permanent exemption. It's a scam wherein they will share a link and once you click on it, Bank account will be emptied. It has happened to two students recently and we came to know it today.
