今天是林徽因诞辰120周年。上个月宾大补发给她百年前应得的建筑学学位，纠正时代造成的历史错误。但是，面对林徽因，这位中国文化史上这位重要女性，还有多少需要纠正的历史错误？ 这是我重读林徽因的读后感。此前我知道徐志摩来听她演讲的路上坠机，但林徽因那场演讲到底讲了什么？我知道冰心《我们太太的客厅》连载时林徽因刚从山西考察回来，但她考察的结果是什么？1949年为什么她会对计划经济充满好感？她与吴晗争议时为何疾言厉色？但1955年最后一次组织谈话时为什么“奇特的平静”？ 林徽因在世时没有学位，没有建筑专著，没有出版诗集，没有得到学术身份，她一生做的很多事都是开创，而没有机会完成，或者被损毁。但是，有形的可以毁去，无形的却可以再生。她的一生证明了一个人在巨大的时代局限和挑战下发挥何等巨大的创造力，一个民族与文化的兴衰，就取决于在什么程度上能像这样的个人创造力释放出来。 注：我身在海外，可以参考的书有限，错漏难免，期待有知者的讨论。本期节目感谢小乐，胡劲草，王南，王军，陈学勇，袁越。 勘误： 05:16 字幕笔误，应为“1920年代” 10:04 “烟柱”应为“檐柱” 宾大校园照片有误，正在处理中。 谢谢指出的观众。 ，

I’m referring of course to the dreaded “opinion,” the center of our social universe and the nadir of human epistemology.
