MODULE & ACCUSED
♦️ MP ATS arrested Mohammad Faraz alias Khalid Saifullah on 12 June, exposing a wider network linked to PFI's "Mission 2047" agenda.
♦️ 4 accused identified: Mohammad Faraz (Bhopal) , Naim Abdullah (Deoband), Shakir Mew, and Izhar-ul-Haq (Madhubani)
MISSION 2047 OBJECTIVE
♦️ The network sought to implement PFI's "Mission 2047" plan by replacing India's existing system with a radical Islamic Sharia order.
♦️ A nationwide network of "mujahideen" being prepared and would rise simultaneously when instructed to overthrow the government.
♦️ Recruits took oaths to carry out target killings and spread fear when activated.
PORKISTANI HANDLERS & RADICALISATION
♦️ Recruits were recruited through WhatsApp, Telegram, video calls, jihadist videos, and religious content managed by Porkistani handlers.
♦️ Handlers encouraged members to become "true jihadis", obey instructions, undertake designated attacks, and be prepared to die in the name of jihad.
♦️ Members were promised "martyrdom"
♦️Faraz instructed to obtain passports for travel to Porkistan via third countries for Mujahideen training.
RECRUITMENT MODEL
♦️ Faraz was tasked with building a network in Madhya Pradesh and recruiting poor, unmarried, and young men.
♦️ Recruits were approached through social media, added to groups, shown extremist content, and gradually inducted through a step-by-step tasking system.
♦️ Some recruits were offered salaries of up to ₹40,000, while meetings were held to identify and groom suitable candidates.
♦️ Radicalisation focused on themes such as Sharia implementation and blasphemy laws.
DIGITAL NETWORK OPERATIONS
♦️ Faraz remained active in such networks for nearly 4 years, using the alias "Khalid Saifullah" and the designation "Lashkar Commander."
♦️ Telegram and WhatsApp groups were used to circulate propaganda, conduct meetings, assign tasks, and monitor recruits.
♦️ Handlers revealed information on a need-to-know basis, issuing new instructions only after previous tasks were completed.
ROLES OF ACCUSED
♦️ Faraz: Recruitment and network expansion in Madhya Pradesh.
♦️ Naim Abdullah (Deoband): Introduced Faraz and others directly to Porkistani handlers and strengthened network contacts.
♦️ Izhar-ul-Haq & Shakir Mew: Conducted closed-door meetings and delivered speeches to recruit youths.
♦️ Shakir Mew functioned as a second-level commander within the module.
INTERNATIONAL LINKS & FUNDING
♦️ Investigators found references to PFI-linked activity in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Porkistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
♦️ Bangladesh and Nepal were used as routes for moving funds into India.
