Experience the joy of batik painting guided by talented students from Metta School, and take home your unique masterpiece. During the session, we will interact with the Metta students who are diagnosed with mild disability and/autism. Don't miss this opportunity!

Join the NUS Buddhist Society Week 5 session to understand deeper into the connection between nature and Buddhism. The society is honoured to be featuring Professor Chong Kwek Yan, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at National University of Singapore (NUS), to share with us on this topic.
Dr. Chong Kwek Yan served on the 27th and 28th Management Committees of NUSBS. He is currently a Senior Researcher at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and adjunct faculty of the Department of Biological Sciences and research affiliate of the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions and the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum.

The society is grateful to be featuring Dr. Ng Yee Kong, who will be the guest speaker on this topic.
Ng Yee Kong is an Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. His major research interest is in studying the mechanisms and factors involved in neurodegeneration and neuroprotection in various conditions in the mammalian nervous system.
