Tw/death I lost about four people this year, and what pains me more than them dying is me not reaching out to them and talking to them when they were alive. What pains me is that I couldn't be there to them, nor to their family because I simply couldn't come to terms with the fact that someone I liked died, someone I grew up with, vanished forever now. You've heard that million times probably, so im not gonna go through the entire dying monologue like all the other did, but this is just a reminder that the greatest gift you could give to people you like and love is to reach out to them once in a while and show them that you care for their wellbeing. Allow yourself to grieve when they go, and if you couldn't do that it's alright too..people have a lot on their shoulders anyway, but it'll save you from losing sleep due to feeling guilty. Be kind to yourself and others and try to care for yourself while you do it <3
