That was supposed to be a funeral for a 31 year old father who was graphically executed in front of 3,000 college students And what you watched was each cabinet member of the Trump government walk out to pyrotechnics and talk about politics/audition for 2028. It is also true that “Charlie would have wanted it that way,” but it doesn’t make it less distasteful. Some things, like death, should be sacred. This entire spectacle seemed like a calculated play, basically a cynical excuse to put on an RNC.

Honestly the fact that there are people that consider this a “funeral” is sad. Charlie deserved a dignified lying to rest. Being deprived of that is worse than the actual assassination. The only genuine part of the event was Erika Kirk’s speech.

My wife is the new protector of the home. lol

Whether Jews were directly responsible for the assassination or not is secondary. They will exploit and weaponize it to their advantage regardless. We can speculate but must stay vigilant, recognize the foe, and rally together in Christ for the common good.

From some old friends that could use help. A young family with a spouse battling cancer. I'm reaching out to share a fundraising campaign on behalf of our family, as we've been having a challenging year. My wife Heather got diagnosed with breast cancer last year in May, and since then we've put all our efforts into making sure she pulls through into a full recovery. She went through chemo in summer-fall, had a double mastectomy at the end of November, and finished radiation this spring. Her prognosis had been a hair's width away from Stage 3, which was scary. Where we are now, things are looking promising. She will continue to have immunotherapy appointments for the rest of the year. Unfortunately, Heather's treatment schedule has presented a challenge for her ability to take care of our 4 year old daughter. As a result, I've had to scale back a lot from work, to be primary caretaker for our daughter and my wife. With the financial pressure growing, we’ve been managing this fundraiser to help us get back on track. Currently we have a back-taxes bill of $5000, credit card debt of $6000 that have accumulated between fuel to dr's appointments and basic needs, and we'll need a few thousand dollars to move when our current lease is up (as our landlord is not going to continue renting their property afterwards).
