Here are the rules for forming possessives with apostrophes:
* Singular nouns: Add an apostrophe and s ('s) regardless of whether the noun ends in s or not. Examples: the cat's meow, Charles's bike.
* Plural nouns ending in s: Add only an apostrophe (' ) after the final s. Examples: the dogs' leashes, the teachers' lounge.
* Plural nouns not ending in s: Add an apostrophe and s ('s). Examples: children's toys, men's clothing.
