Ibn Hazm رحمه الله said: “And know that most people exhibit considerable foolishness, possessing abnormally weak intellect, and the wise and virtuous are extremely rare, and indeed, this is evident with senses. And this has been conveyed to us by the Creator, the First, and through His chosen messenger to us ﷺ as He, the Most High, said: ‘And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah’ (Surah Al-An’am 6:116). My mother does not care about getting me married, she would not look or accept propsals eventhough I am off age and even have a job.
