It's been 14 years since former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko died from radioactive poisoning in London.
Alexander fled Russia in 2000 and claimed political asylum in the UK. He wrote a book
'Blowing Up Russia: Terror from Within' where he describes the 1999 Russian apartment bombings as a false flag operation that was guided by the Russian Federal Security Service to justify war against
#Chechnya and bring Vladimir Putin to power.
Alexander converted to
#Islam on his deathbed. His father, Walter, told reporters his son converted to Islam shortly before his death and wished to be buried according to Muslim tradition.
"He told me about his decision two days before he died. He said, 'Papa, I have to talk to you about something serious. I've become a Muslim,'" Walter Litvinenko said.
"You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world, Mr. Putin, will reverberate in your ears for the rest of your life." - Alexander Litvinenko
