✅ CA Amendment bill passed in #LokSabha, this is the black day for our Profession. This is the direct attack on autonomy of the independent Institute. This government will hijack everything be it CBI or any other private or Independent bodies.
Really Pathetic!
Note : The Bill majorly includes the Disciplinary Committee action and Members of Government Nominees to be 3 (majority) while the Members of the respected institute be 2.
The Bill also includes the suggestion of Parliamentary Standing Committee's suggestion to incorporate IIAs (Indian Institute of Accounting).
