I had intended to comment on the video which is great but, unfortunately, promotes electric cars... *The Arctic also happens to be where Nornickel’s mines produce enormous quantities of the minerals essential for rechargeable batteries. It’s the source of nickel and cobalt found in millions of electric vehicles, as well as much of the palladium inside the catalytic converters that reduce tailpipe emissions.* āœļøMartina Verena @Enviro_Climate

Electric Cars and bikes are NOT a solution, please tras this article on the topic. Countdown begins for the World Sustainable Development Teach-In Day The countdown begins for the World Sustainable Development Teach-In Day 2020 (WSD-TID 2020), organized by the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany on 4 December 2020. We cordially invite you to be a part of history, a decade-long global movement that aims to raise and spread awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). We invite you to join thousands of sustainability enthusiasts, in either presenter or participant mode, and to leave your unique footprint in infusing sustainability thinking into our educational systems. You may: (A) Join in presenter mode: Environmental educators from all over the world are encouraged to partake in this global movement by holding a live presentation on the Teach-In Day.
