Are you just curious about how the experience is for others? For me, it's taken several years to develop my "communication system" with my guides... which ultimately has just been a process of me learning to trust and listen to my own intuition. I'm now at the point where I receive that guidance immediately in the moment and no longer question it. It has proven to be correct again and again, which is one reason why it's taken so long to get to this point -- my conscious mind needed "proof." In my personal experience, it shows up through multiple forms of synchronicity. I don't hear voices, have visions or anything like that. It's much more subtle. I do feel things, primarily in the heart, solar plexus and the space between them. I receive thoughts and impressions and have gotten to the point where I just "know" when something is guidance vs. just my own mind thinking. I do think it took years for me to raise my vibration as well. I am at the point now where I hold no concern over infiltration or disruption from negative entities. I don't think they can really "access" you if you are at a certain level of vibration. That's not to say I'm irrevocably in this state and can never been "messed with" every again. I do notice right away when there is a lower/negative energy present, which again, just took years of being within a certain vibration to notice that difference.
