This LPP is the real killer of Option Trading. Only after the implementation of LPP mechanism by exchange, occurrence of injections increased a lot.
For example, some one who shorted at 50, if he wants to exit at 100, it is not possible because max price allowed is 85 as per LLP, so all orders goes to rejected state who have stop loss above 85, and by the time people who saw their SL is cancelled, trying to exit manually, will face order rejection again until new LPP range is updated, by the time it is updated, price shoots up even further, then people rush to buy at market to exit their shorts, which is in turn pushing the price again.
This LPP is like a lagging indicator, where it gets updated only after moves beyond certain range trapping all the shorts. Once all the stop loss orders are eaten up, price comes back to where it was trading earlier.
