Secret Network is partnering with Fairblock to develop the next generation of privacy-enhancing products! SCRT Labs and Fairblock are joining forces under the Confidential Computing Constellation to create an advanced tooling set that combines the core technologies of Fairblock and Secret Network: Multi Party Computation such IBE and FHE, and Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). We believe combining these technologies in parallel will significantly increase the usability, composability and security of the complete stack. There is a wide range of applications from infrastructure mechanism design, DeFi, and governance to distributed content and DePIN that can be powered by this combined tooling. We’re excited to announce a partnership that will bring Obi, a new account abstraction network powered by Secret Network technology, to the Confidential Computing Constellation! Obi will be licensing Secret Network’s TEE-powered private smart contract technology. The Obi network will serve the Obi account abstraction wallet and SDK, enabling additional throughput and redundancy. Obi’s core cryptographic components will use SCRT for gas, financially aligning the project with Secret Network and the larger constellation vision. Additionally, 8% of the supply of future Obi protocol tokens will be sent to Secret's community pool. Announcing HackSecret 2024! This hybrid online/in-person hackathon will take place from February 1st to March 3rd, and has a prize pool of $10,000!
