Tyrell Malacia on Ten Hag: “He is always working, from morning till night. Every player at United will tell you that every part of our game is detailed by our manager. It is all spot-on - and this is how he is developing the team every single day.” #MUFC

Tyrell Malacia: “The gaffer often goes to his office at the club to see the videos of the match we have just played so he can prepare and have his analysis ready for us the next morning. Erik ten Hag is so obsessed with the job of manager. He absolutely loves the game.” #MUFC

Tyrell Malacia: “When we have an away match, no matter how many hours it takes to come back to Manchester and we arrive in the middle of the night, everyone goes straight home. Everyone, that is, apart from the manager.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “I have spoken to Sir Alex since I have been here, but I didn’t mention what happened back then [on his failed move to United in 2011]. I didn’t want to say something negative, you know? I have too much respect for him.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane on his failed move to United in 2011: “It was all agreed between Lens and Manchester - but then I think Manchester changed their mind. If I remember, they signed a different player or had different options.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “Pressure is something that is very important in my game. If I play without pressure I don’t play very well. I need that tension to be at 100 percent in my performance.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “I had to play for United on December 27 because some players were ill, so I had no time to switch off and switch back on again. I just stayed in the same competitive mood. My focus was exactly the same for the Premier League as it was for the World Cup.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “It’s easier to handle losing a World Cup final when you’ve already won one.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “When you are on the top the only thing that can change is to disappoint. That’s why our first objective is to win this final because it’s the first step. What we all want is to see Man United back at the top and playing in the Champions League every year.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “When you can grow with the club and the team, that’s a great feeling. With Madrid, my best memories were when we were climbing and on the journey rather than the arrival.” #MUFC

Raphael Varane: “Winning becomes an addiction. When you start to win, you just want to win again and again and do nothing else. You start to believe that anything is possible.” #MUFC

Ten Hag: “We have the opportunity [and will in] every season again but we are in a good direction, on Sunday we have the opportunity to win a trophy. But after Sunday, it moves on and we are still in three [competitions] where we have still good opportunities to win something.”

Ten Hag on whether #mufc players want to create their own history: “That's the point. That you are playing for #mufc and you have to create your own legacy and therefore you have to win trophies.”

Ten Hag on if he’s been to Wembley before: “No, I never had the opportunity to have the experience of being in Wembley. Only on television. I am looking forward with big joy.”

Ten Hag: “That doesn't make sense, it doesn't help you. It's about focusing, we have the opportunity Sunday and we have to put everything we have in to get that trophy and to get that to Manchester.”

Ten Hag on the impact of getting that first trophy: “It's massive but first get the first one. Now we have the opportunity to get that one, and don't think further ahead.”

I hope we win though ❤️
