Anthony Elanga: “It's frustrating. It's important for me to play. I’m focused on #mufc now — then I'll talk to the club. I like the club, but it's important for me to play. I spoke to Ten Hag — I know what he wants me to do and I can only continue to train hard.”

Wout Weghorst: “[Ten Hag said] he needed a striker who could fit into his way of playing. He certainly did not paint the picture as it is now. Anthony Martial was his striker and he was doing fine - but he is injury-prone and the manager wanted all positions double-staffed.”

BREAKING: Marcus Rashford will NOT be part of the England squad for Euro Championship qualifying campaign later this week as “#mufc striker has had to pull out through injury”. Rashford suffered a knock vs Fulham and will miss the England games. [@FabrizioRomano]

Subs: Butland, Dalot, Lindelof, Malacia, Fred, Mainoo, Antony, Pellistri, Elanga. #MUFC

#MUFC XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw, Sabitzer, McTominay, Sancho, Bruno, Rashford, Weghorst.

OFFICIAL: Facundo Pellistri has been selected for Uruguay for their upcoming fixtures.

Ten Hag: “First we have international break and then three Premier League games so there is much time to focus on that so definitely, all the opponents are coming to this stage of Europa League they are strong and you have to play your best football if you want to go through.”

Ten Hag: “[Sevilla have] a very good record [in #UEL] - we have to be aware of it. It’s going to be tough, they are very experienced in the Europa League, won it many times so I don’t know the team in detail but for me the most important is football and I don’t look at Sevilla.”

Ten Hag on whether the Carabao Cup win gives #mufc more incentive to return to Wembley: “Of course it is huge motivation. We enjoyed winning a trophy and it has to be the fuel for the next one and push for that idea and that has to bring extra energy to beat Fulham.”

Ten Hag: “He didn’t do it over several years at #mufc and there comes a point you have to make a step maybe back to make a step in the future. I think he is doing a good job.”

Ten Hag on Andreas Pereira: “He is a good player and I know him a long time, I had him in the youth of PSV before he transferred to #mufc and I am really happy for him and I think it was the right step and he had to play on a regular basis.”
