We do not have a lot of scheduled volatility this week in terms of the economic calendar, so I am not expecting any surprises early in the week with market moves. Let's see if we can get continuation on where we left off on Friday, and let's see if we get some bigger moves with the US unemployment data release and PMI news on Thursday. Hello MindShifters, welcome to a new trading week! My apologies to everyone for not being able to post the weekly review last Sunday... I was preoccupied with newborn duties, and it was difficult for me to find time to record/edit & upload. I will be sure to do my best to keep to the schedule going forward, as I get acclimated to the new lifestyle changes! Thanks for everyone's patience & understanding 🤓🙈 This week seems like it will be quite slow in terms of volatility, as we have several bank holidays and a general lack of scheduled news events on the calendar. That being said, let's see if there will be some continuation moves to the action that we saw from last week, and let's be on the lookout for maybe some unscheduled volatility as the COVID-19 pandemic still continues to do its damage to the world's economies... Baby is healthy and Mommy is doing well in her recovery, and I have been here at the hospital with them both. Amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting all of the worlds economies right now, these are some of the most volatile markets we have seen in a very long time. I hope everyone out there is staying safe and social distancing for the greater good, and hopefully we will get through all of this in the shortest amount of time necessary. While things out there currently are certainly bleak, truth be told I don't think we've seen the worst of it yet... There's an exponential rise in confirmed virus cases every week and if it continues to spread at the rate its going, then there will be no telling where the bottoms of these markets could potentially be a few months from now. Well a whirlwind of global events have sent some serious ripples into the markets, as we have seen some extremely volatile price moves this past week. We have FOMC this week so we will need to be mindful of that on Wednesday, and I will be interested to see if the USD can continue its bullish rebound into new yearly highs. Be mindful of any gaps that may appear when the markets open and stay cautious out there, as now is time to be dialing back your risk levels. All things considered it should be pretty straightforward from here, with no big volatility injection on the horizon except Thursday's ECB news.
