NUSPS proudly presents 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, our annual nationwide photography competition!! The theme for this year is 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The overarching theme for NUSPS Montage 2023 is "Stillness is Another Action", which focuses on the artistic expression of motion and stillness using photography. As the epidemic came to an end, we saw a new dawn through the darkness. Our nation now embraces tomorrow with more compassion, perseverance, and courage. While the nerve to take a stride to the future is hitting all industries, Montage 2023 hopes to raise awareness about the importance of making wise choices and taking a long-term view for the betterment of Singapore and its people. NUSPS is proud to present 𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐒 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑!! 🥳 Join us for a series of photography workshops and experience learning Product & Portrait Photography with professional photographers from Sony and ZhiYun!  This workshop is open to 𝐀𝐋𝐋 NUS students and it’ll be 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄!! 🤗 However, sign-ups are on a first-come-first-serve basis and priority will be given to NUSPS members. Activities:  1. Posing a Subject for Portrait Photography Explore the use of angles and lightning technique and learn the right way to pose your subjects in this portrait photography workshop. 2. Environmental Portrait Photography Learn how to capture photos of people in their natural surroundings by understanding how to work your way in planning a successful shoot using the environment around you.  3. Product Photography Dive into the world of Product Photography where you will learn camera angles and product lighting tips to get the best shots.

Kickstart your Chinese New Year celebrations with NUSPS by joining us for our CNY photowalk around Chinatown! There will be a mini competition sponsored by Cathay Photo with prizes to be won, so do look forward to it! 🤩 Pho-兔-Walk Competition Duration: 15th Jan 2023 - 29th Jan 2023 Winners will be notified via our Instagram page @nusps and via private message on Telegram on 3rd Feb 2023.  Do note that 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 NUSPS members will be allowed to participate in the competition & competition entries must be taken during the photowalk.  More rules & regulations for the photography competition can be found in the link at the end. Further information on the how to join the competition will be released to the participants via Telegram after the sign-up form closes and before the competition starts (15th Jan 2023). Reminder that sign ups for our Film Photography Workshop will end this Friday (9th Dec) at 1700hrs. Those coming for the photography exhibition, do dm @pang_keng_yong by this Friday (9th Dec) as well to register for your attendance!!

After the workshop, we will be having a casual visit to a photography exhibition down at SCAPE from 3-4pm!! For those interested in the photography exhibition, we will need to register you guys for the event. Drop @pang_keng_yong a dm to indicate your attendance!! We will also be having an informal photowalk session from 4-6pm along Orchard Road after the photography exhibition. For those who wish to capture moments under the magical Christmas lights together with fellow NUSPS photographers, we will have a casual dinner and continue the photowalk into the night 😁 No registration is needed for the photowalk so just pop by as and when you’re free to make new friends this festive season!!
