Irrespective of developed skills, natural talents, physical capabilities or intellectual genius, all expended effort that excludes the Lord will be rendered futile and fruitless. Except the Lord keep the home, the family, the city or the church, the watchmanâs labour or the ministerâs effort will be in vain â for neither diligence nor alertness will profit one whit, without the Lord Himself at the helm.
How blessed, therefore, is the home, the family, the nation â the people, who have God as the head of their house and Lord of their lives.

What we do nowadays and it's quite common, is that we use our present wisdom as a weapon to beat ourselves up for our past decisions. "I should've done it differently, I could've done it differently, I would've done it differently", well you would've, and you will. But don't judge yesterday's decisions with today's wisdom.
Learn from mistakes but let go of past "what-ifs," âshould have done,â âcould have done,â or âwould have done if only.â Each moment â no matter how big or small, no matter the layer or level, can launch you into new beginnings.
Love and lift yourself up!

Focus on effort, not outcomes.
As Marcus Aurelius said, itâs insane to tie your wellbeing to things outside of your control. If you did your best, if you gave it your all, if you acted with your best judgmentâthat is a winâŚregardless of whether itâs a good or bad outcome.

Donât quit on your goals and dreams. You deserve to see what happens when all of your hard work and study pays off.

Unless you are being emotionally rewarded for something, you'll eventually stop doing it, no matter how much willpower you have.
To stick to a new positive behavior, you must find a way to make it fun, exciting or emotionally valuable in another way.
The two simplest ways to do this:
1) Gamify it - keep score, track metrics, set personal records.
2) Make it social - join a team/group, invite friends, create accountability.

We must all try to empathize before we criticize. Ask someone what's wrong before telling them they are wrong.
