➠ Alopecia areata Types:- 1- Ophiasis: hair loss localized to the back and sides of the scalp 2- Sisiapho: sparing of the sides and back of the scalp 3- Extensive alopecia areata: hair loss affecting > 50% of the scalp 4- Alopecia universalis : All hair-bearing sites are affected 5- Alopecia totalis: Complete scalp baldness.
