💢 Short Story ✴️ The starfish    👉There was a man taking a morning walk at the beach. He saw that along with the morning tide came hundreds of starfish and when the tide receded, they were left behind and with the morning sun rays, they would die. The tide was fresh and the starfish were alive. The man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He did that repeatedly. Right behind him there was another person who couldn't understand what this man was doing. He caught up with him and asked, "What are you doing? There are hundreds of starfish. How many can you help? What difference does it make?" This man did not reply, took two more steps, picked up another one, threw it into the water, and said, "It makes a difference to this one." What difference are we making? Big or small, it does not matter. If everyone made a small difference, we'd end up with a big difference, wouldn't we? ✴️ستاره دریایی 👈مردی بود که صبح ها کنار ساحل پیاده روی  می کرد. او دید که تنها با جزر و مد دریا صدها ستاره دریایی می آمد و وقتی جزر و مد تمام می شد، آنها عقب می ماندند و با نور خورشید صبحگاهی می مردند. جزرو مد تازه شروع شده بود و ستاره  دریایی زنده بودند. مرد چند قدم برداشت، یکی را انتخاب کرد و آن را درون آب پرتاب کرد. او مکررا این عمل را انجام داد. درست پشت سر او شخص دیگری حضور داشت که نمی توانست بفهمد این مرد چکار میکند. او همراه مرد شروع به انجام همان کار کرد و پرسید، «چکار میکنی؟» اینجا صدها ستاره دریای وجود داره. تو چقدر میتونی کمک کنی؟ انجام این کار چه فرقی ایجاد میکنه؟ مرد جوابی نداد، دو  قدم به جلو نهاد، یک ستاره دریایی دیگر برداشت، آن را درون آب پرتاب کرد، و گفت: «انجام این کار برای این ستاره فرق داره.» اینکه ما چه تفاوتی ایجاد میکنیم؟ کوچک یا بزرگ، مهم نیست. اگر هر شخصی یک تفاوت کوچک ایجاد کند، ما در نهایت یک تفاوت بزرگ ایجاد خواهیم کرد، اینطور نیست؟ @lingonex @lingonex

🟡Point 👈🏻شما با chemistry به معنی “شیمی” اشنا هستین. محض اطلاع این واژه می تونه به معنی “حس قوی عاشقانه بین دو نفر” باشه. یعنی وقتی شما مثلا به دوست و همراهتون میگین I don’t have any chemistry with you anymore  یعنی “من دیگه هیچ حسی نسبت به تو ندارم” 🟡 there’s a real chemistry between me and my wife ” یه رابطه ی (حس) خیلی قوی عاشقانه بین من و همسرمه” 👈🏻نکته: همین مثال رو میشد اینطوری هم گفت: My wife and I have alot of chemistry. 🆔@lingonex

🟡Short story 🟢The_Laboratory آزمایشگاه Mia's father had a laboratory, but she had no idea what was in it. Her dad always closed and locked the door when he went in. پدر میا یک آزمایشگاه داشت، ولی میا نمیدانست داخل آن چیست. پدرش همیشه وقتی داخلش میشد در را می بست و قفل میکرد. She knew that he used it to do projects for work. He never told Mia what these projects were. میا می دانست که پدرش پروژه های کاری را انجام میداد. پدرش هیچ وقت به میا نمی گفت این پروژه ها چه بودند. One night, Mia approached the door to the laboratory. She stopped and thought, . I wonder what crazy experiment he is doing now.' یک شب، میا به در آزمایشگاه نزدیک شد. او ایستاد و فکر کرد نمیدانم حالا چه آزمایش دیوانه واری دارد انجام میدهد.» Suddenly, she heard a loud noise. It sounded like an evil laugh. The noise scared her, so she walked quickly back to her room. ناگهان، صدای بلندی شنید. مانند یک خنده شريرانه بود. صدا او را ترساند، بنابراین به سرعت به اتاقش برگشت. The next night, her friend Liz came to her house. When Liz arrived, Mia told her about the night before. 'Oh, it was terrible,' she said. شب بعد، دوستش لیز به خانه اش آمد. وقتی لیز رسید، میا ماجرای شب قبل را برای او تعریف کرد. او گفت «اوه، وحشتناک بود.» 'Why don't we see what is in there?' Liz asked.' As always, the door was locked. میا از اینکه وارد آزمایشگاه پدرش شود احساس اضطراب می کرد، ولی موافقت کرد. مثل همیشه، در قفل بود. They waited until Mia's father left the laboratory to eat dinner. 'He didn't lock the door!' Liz said. 'Let's go.' آنها منتظر ماندند تا پدر میا آزمایشگاه را برای خوردن ناهار ترک کرد. لیز گفت «در را قفل نکرد! بزن برویم.» The laboratory was dark. The girls walked down the stairs carefully. آزمایشگاه تاریک بود. دخترها با احتیاط پله ها را پایین رفتند. Mia smelled strange chemicals. What terrible thing was her father creating? میا بوی مواد شیمیایی عجیبی شنید. پدرش چه چیز وحشتناکی داشت درست می کرد؟  Suddenly, they heard an evil laugh. It was even worse than the one Mia heard the night before. ناگهان، آنها صدای خندهای شریرانه را شنیدند. حتی بدتر از آنی بود که میا شب قبل شنیده بود. What if a monster was going to kill them? Mia had to do something. She shouted for help. اگر هیولا میخواست آنها را بکشد چه؟ میا باید کاری می کرد. او فریاد کمک سر داد. Mia's father ran into the room and turned on the lights. پدر ميا داخل اتاق دوید و چراغ را روشن کرد. 'Oh, no,' he said. 'You must have learned my secret.' او گفت «وای، نه. باید به راز من پی برده باشید.» 'Your monster tried to kill us,' Mia said. میا گفت «هیولایت سعی کرد ما را بکشد.»  'Monster?' he asked. 'You mean this?' He had a pretty doll in his hands. The doll laughed. پدرش پرسید «هیولا؟ منظورت این است؟» او عروسک زیبایی در دست داشت. عروسک خندید. The laugh didn't sound so evil anymore. ' I made this for your birthday. I wanted to give it to you then, but you can have it now. I hope you like it!' حالا دیگر خنده آنقدر شرورانه به نظر نمی رسید. «این را برای تولدت درست کردم. میخواستم آن موقع آن را به تو بدهم، ولی میتوانی حالا داشته باشی اش. امیدوارم از آن خوشت بیاید! 🆔@lingonex

🟢The difference between Rob & Steal 👈🏻زمانی که مفعول ( object ) جمله ی ما چیزی مثل پول ، کیف ، ساعت ، ماشین و.... است که دزدیده شده است از  Steal استفاده میکنیم . 🟡Someone has stolen all his money . 👈🏻اما زمانی که مفعول جمله شخص یا جایی مثل خانه، بانک و ... است که از آن دزدی شده است از Rob  استفاده می کنیم. 🟡Three men robbed a bank last week. 🆔@lingonex
