Aziz Kurash oilamiz a’zolari!
🎉6-sentabr – Jahon Kurash kuni hamda Xalqaro Kurash Assotsiatsiyasi (IKA) tashkil topganining 28 yilligi munosabati bilan barcha Milliy Kurash Federatsiyalariga samimiy minnatdorchiligimni bildiraman.
Ushbu qutlug‘ sanalarni keng nishonlashga bag‘ishlangan global kampaniyada faol va munosib ishtirok etgan har bir Milliy Federatsiyaning hissasi alohida e’tirofga loyiqdir. Sizlarning fidoyiligingiz, tashabbuskorligingiz va Kurashga bo‘lgan sadoqatingiz butun dunyo bo‘ylab Kurash oilasining birdamligi va hamjihatligini yana bir bor namoyon etdi.
🤝Bayram tadbirlari davomida amalga oshirilgan tashkiliy va targ‘ibot ishlari nafaqat ushbu sana nufuzini yanada oshirdi, balki Kurashning boy merosi, ezgu qadriyatlari va xalqaro sport maydonidagi o‘rnini mustahkamlashga xizmat qildi.
O‘tgan 28 yil davomida Xalqaro Kurash Assotsiatsiyasi va uning a’zolari o‘zaro hurmat, do‘stlik, halollik va birdamlik tamoyillari asosida kuchli xalqaro hamjamiyatni shakllantirishga muvaffaq bo‘ldi. Bu yilgi kampaniya esa bizning eng katta kuchimiz aynan birlik va hamkorlikda ekanini yana bir bor tasdiqladi.

A ceremonial meeting was held at the IKA headquarters on the occasion of World Kurash Day and the 28th anniversary of the International Kurash Association
❗️The event was chaired by the Acting President of the IKA, Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov. It was attended by the IKA Vice-President Sherzodkhon Kudratkhodja, General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, Presidential Advisor Umid Yakubov, Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzayev, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, and the IKA Administration employees.
🎙️The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on Kurash’s achievements over the past 28 years, its remarkable historical journey, and the strategic priorities for the years ahead.
The event concluded with the traditional cutting of a celebratory cake, accompanied by heartfelt wishes for Kurash to achieve even greater success and reach new heights in the future.

Today is a special day that unites the great achievements and ambitious dreams of Kurash, a traditional sport with a history spanning thousands of years.
🇺🇿Exactly 28 years ago, on 6 September 1998, the International Kurash Association (IKA) was established. This historic decision marked the beginning of a new era in bringing our national heritage to the world stage and making Kurash an integral part of the international sports movement.
Over the years, Kurash has gone through an unprecedented journey of development. Today, Kurash is a prestigious international sport developing in nearly 140 countries, bringing together millions of people and serving as a bridge of friendship between continents and cultures.
❗️Kurash has secured a strong place in the programmes of the Asian Games. It has also been recognised as one of the important sports of the Islamic Solidarity Games, the competitions of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), and the World Nomad Games. None of these achievements are the result of a single day’s effort or coincidence.
Behind these accomplishments lies the dedication of thousands of devoted people who have dedicated their lives to the development of Kurash.
First and foremost, the continued support and attention of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Honorary President of the International Kurash Association, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, have provided a solid foundation for this development.
At the same time, the efforts of federations, coaches, referees, organisers and millions of Kurash athletes in hundreds of countries have helped make Kurash an important part of the global sports movement.

International Campaign Dedicated to World Kurash Day Launched
⚡️The International Kurash Association (IKA) has addressed all national federations and Kurash organizations around the world on the occasion of World Kurash Day, celebrated on September 6, and the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the IKA.
💫As part of the initiative, federations and Kurash clubs are invited to prepare photos and videos featuring the special festive banner and submit them to the IKA. In addition, on the eve of and on World Kurash Day, these materials will be shared on social media, tagging the official pages of the International Kurash Association.
🎉The initiative aims to unite the global Kurash community around a single celebration and promote the values of international solidarity and friendship through sport.
National federations, Kurash athletes, coaches and sports communities from countries across Asia, Ociania ,Europe, Africa and the Pan - Americas will actively participate in the campaign.

🇰🇷2026 йил 29 август куни Жанубий Корея Республикасининг Сеул шаҳридаги Дуксунг аёллар университетида II “Ўзбекистон Элчиси Кубоги” ўз ғолибларини аниқлади.
🎉Корея Кураш федерацияси томонидан Ўзбекистон Республикасининг Корея Республикасидаги Элчихонаси ҳамкорлигида ўтказилган мусобақа Ўзбекистон Республикаси Мустақиллигининг 35 йиллигига бағишланди.
🏆Турнирда 200 нафардан ортиқ спортчи иштирок этиб, Курашнинг Корея Республикасида тобора оммалашиб бораётганини намоён қилди. Мусобақа спортчилар, мураббийлар, расмийлар, дипломатик корпус вакиллари ҳамда Кураш жамоатчилигини бир майдонга жамлади.
❗️Тадбирнинг энг эътиборли жиҳатларидан бири халқаро дипломатик ҳамжамиятнинг кенг иштироки бўлди. Ўзбекистон, Қирғизистон, Туркманистон, Тожикистон, Россия, Покистон, Мўғулистон ва Беларусь давлатларининг элчилари ҳамда дипломатик вакиллари мусобақада қатнашдилар.
🎙Жумладан, Ўзбекистон Республикасининг Корея Республикасидаги Фавқулодда ва Мухтор Элчиси Алишер Абдусаломов турнир очилиш маросимида сўзга чиқиб, икки мамлакат ўртасидаги спорт соҳасидаги ҳамкорликни янада мустаҳкамлаш муҳимлигини таъкидлади.
Турнир доирасида Дуксунг аёллар университети ва Ўзбекистон Республикасининг Кореядаги Элчихонаси ўртасида ҳамкорлик меморандуми имзоланди. Мазкур ҳужжат таълим, илмий тадқиқотлар ва маданий алмашинув соҳаларидаги ҳамкорликни ривожлантиришга хизмат қилади.

The International Kurash Tournament “Ambassador of Uzbekistan Cup” Held in South Korea
🇰🇷On August 29, 2026, the 2nd “Ambassador of Uzbekistan Cup” was held at Duksung Women’s University in Seoul, Korea, determining its winners.
🎉Organized by the Korean Kurash Federation in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Korea, the tournament was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
🏆More than 200 athletes took part in the tournament, demonstrating the growing popularity of Kurash in Korea. The event brought together athletes, coaches, officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the international Kurash community on one platform.
❗️One of the highlights of the event was the broad participation of the international diplomatic community. Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Pakistan, Mongolia, and Belarus attended the competition.
🎙In particular, His Excellency Alisher Abdusalomov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Korea, addressed the opening ceremony and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports.
As part of the tournament, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Duksung Women’s University and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Korea. The document aims to promote cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and cultural exchange.
President of the Korean Kurash Federation Bae Hyeong Sik said:
“The 2nd ‘Ambassador of Uzbekistan Cup’ not only demonstrated the rapid development of Kurash in Korea, but also served as an important platform for strengthening sports diplomacy, cultural exchange, and international cooperation.”

🇰🇬Qirg‘izistonning Issiqko‘l viloyatida VI Jahon Ko‘chmanchilar o‘yinlari doirasidagi Kurash musobaqalari yuqori saviyada tashkil etildi va murosasiz bahslarga boy tarzda yakunlandi.
🏅+90 kg vazn toifasida 22 mamlakat vakillari g‘oliblik uchun kurash olib bordi. Hal qiluvchi final bahsida O‘zbekiston vakili Nomonjon Radjabov tajribali eronlik sportchi, Kurash bo‘yicha 19-Osiyo o‘yinlari g‘olibi Sadegh Azarang ustidan kichik ustunlik bilan g‘alaba qozonib, VI Jahon Ko‘chmanchilar o‘yinlari chempioni degan sharafli nomga sazovor bo‘ldi.

Nomonjon Radjabov — Champion of the 6th World Nomad Games!
🇰🇬The Kurash competitions held as part of the 6th World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Region were organized at a high level and concluded with intense and fiercely contested matches.
🏅In the +90 kg weight category, representatives of 22 countries competed for the title. In the decisive final match, Uzbekistan’s Nomonjon Radjabov defeated experienced Iranian athlete Sadegh Azarang, winner of the 19th Asian Games in Kurash, by a narrow margin, earning the prestigious title of champion of the 6th World Nomad Games.
The bronze medals went to Turkmenistan’s Ylham Kemelov and host nation Kyrgyzstan’s athlete Telek Kurolov. Notably, Telek Kurolov was also the winner of the 3rd World Nomad Games, held in Issyk-Kul in 2018.
❗️The Kurash competitions at the 6th World Nomad Games brought athletes from different countries of the world together around a single Gilam, once again demonstrating the sport’s rich heritage, high values, and international significance.

Article on the International Kurash Refereeing Course Published on the Olympic Council of Asia Website
❗️A special article on the international refereeing course organized by the International Kurash Association (IKA) and the International Kurash Institute has been published on the official website of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
🔴According to the article, the course, held in Uzbekistan from 17 to 22 August, brought together more than 20 international-level referees from over 10 countries and territories. The training sessions were conducted with the aim of ensuring the high-level organization of Kurash competitions at the upcoming 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, and preparing referees in accordance with unified international standards.
The OCA publication highlighted the course as an important initiative aimed at enhancing the qualifications of Kurash referees, strengthening international refereeing standards, and further promoting the international prestige of Kurash.
📌The article also provided information about the closing ceremony of the course, the presentation of internationally recognized certificates to the participants, and the participation of IKA leadership and representatives of the International Kurash Institute in the event.
