A Renewed SensešŸ’” ā€œYour word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.ā€ Psalms 119:105 NKJV The context of this scripture is several testimonies being shared from amazing experiences with the word of God. That is what Psalm 119 is mainly about. Here the author says; ā€œYour word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.ā€ Naturally, a sound canā€™t make you see. But this is the authorā€™s testimony. What was he saying? He was trying to translate what had happen to him spiritually into words. Through the word of God, his heart had began to interpret things through Godā€™s perspectives; bringing guidance to the steps he should take and order in the path of his life. To think on things through the lens of Godā€™s word is a blessing. Proverbs 4:23 says; the experiences of your life are born from your heart. When you have the word of God to renew the thoughts of your heart, your paths light up. The word of God floods your heart with light and gives you mastery over all that shows up in life. Affirm I do not live vulnerable to the tides in this world. The word of God in me fills my life with light. Every circumstance comes under the subjection to the word of God in my mouth. I am raised by the Word to live a victorious life. LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day2ļøāƒ£0ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.

How To Keep Your Heart šŸ¤ ā€œKeep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.ā€ Proverbs 4:23 KJV The word of God says thereā€™s only one place the experiences of your life are born from. Your heart. So we are prompted to keep our hearts with all discipline. Though it seems to many that weā€™re not given a practical way to do this, the preceding scripture in Proverbs 4:20-21 clearly states it. It says; ā€œMy son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart.ā€ Psalm 1:2-3 also says; ā€œBut his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.ā€ Keeping the word of God in your heart is what keeps your heart. The latter scripture points out how intentional we should be. It says day and night we should have meditations. As we do this, our lives get flooded with the experience of what the word talks about. When your heart is kept with the word your life is only a result of the word of God in you. Affirm I am a new creation born of the Word of God. I live and have my being in the word. I take it to heart to dominate my thoughts with the word of God and walk in its blissful reality. Hallelujah LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day1ļøāƒ£4ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.

Give The Word Your AttentionšŸ”Ž ā€œMy son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to oneā€™s whole body.ā€ Proverbs 4:20-22 NIV At any moment in time, our minds can only have a thing in focus. Within a day, there are particular things we devote our attention to, whiles others are randomly visited in our thoughts. Instead of making the word of God one of the things you are partially conscious of, rather make it the one thing that is always not out of your focus for long. Keep bringing it back in view. Our opening scripture says; do not let it out of your sight. The word of God is light. When it is removed, you lose sight of what God is showing you. You lose sight of what he has made available. So it is important to keep bringing the word of God to your mind again and again. The scripture says, this will eventually get it into your heart. It means you become one with it. And what is next? It will begin to produce what it talks about in your life. You will see testimonies filling your life. Affirm My thoughts are not unorganized and fruitless. I stay on the word of God which enriches my life with light. By the light of the Word I do not miss out on the experience of any good thing in Christ Jesus for me. Glory to God. Desire Truth šŸ— ā€œFor whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a yearning for truth], even what he has will be taken away from him.ā€ā€ Mark 4:25 AMP The Christian who is negligent towards the knowledge of Godā€™s word does not treasure the life they have received in Christ. They are not interested in finding out the details of what has been given. They still want to live the same old way they used to live, say the same old things they used to say and just have a small life. God translates this attitude as ingratitude. That you donā€™t want to know about what you have received, shows how lightly you esteem it. You put it on the shelf and walk away. Look at how Jesus expresses the implication in our opening text. Those who desire truth, who want to know and accept what God says in his word, they receive more understanding, they learn to master the new life in Christ. But those who do not value the knowledge of the truth, he says even what they have come to know, they will be deceived out of it. And what will they have? Ignorance that permits no expression of the life they have received. Donā€™t come to that point. Always desire and look for the truth in Godā€™s word. As you do, more insight will be added to you. Affirm I do not live in ignorance. I find truths in the word of God that orders my life. My mind is enlightened by the word of God at all times and in all things. Iā€™m full of understanding and I help those around me to live the best life. Glory to God. LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day1ļøāƒ£2ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.

It All Comes From The WordšŸ“– ā€œAll Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.ā€ 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT The scriptures contain the words of God. They are not a guide for how a religion should be practiced. They are the thoughts and intentions of God about us. When we look for our lives outside the scriptures, we fall into disappointing and hurtful experiences. The child of God was created by the word of God. 1 Peter 1:23 says; ā€œhaving been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,ā€ So every detail about how God designed our lives to be can be found in his recorded word. Our opening scripture says, it is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. Like a light it brings to our realization what is out of order in our lives, and works in us to manifest Godā€™s best for us. The word of God is our source. Affirm I live my life from the word of God. Regardless of how things look at anytime, Iā€™m not changing my mind about what God said. His word is going to be in my mind and on my mouth, because it is my source. LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day1ļøāƒ£1ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.

A Masterā€™s Perfect WorkšŸŗ[3] ā€”raised for many. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV Our appointment as children of God makes us Royal Priests in the earth. Now thereā€™s nothing self centric about royalty or priesthood. Both are Godā€™s ordained offices by which he rules the earth. He keeps order and cultures men in his ways through these roles. They are leadership roles, and are designed to serve others. This is how our opening scripture says God has made us. We are Godā€™s chosen, made to be royal priests in the earth. Our perfection and our prominence in Christ is not for vain glory. As you mature in your knowledge of Godā€™s word and grow glorious in your living, remember the Father raised us to serve. We are not self centered people. We are royal priests. We ensure that the lives around us are not under the destructive influence of darkness. Keep this in your heart. At anytime it becomes about you, you are leaving many to be victims of the darkness that is in this world. Be to many what God has raised you to be for them. Affirm I represent God in love and authority in the earth. I do not spare a soul to be destroyed by darkness. I bring light and life to all who are around me. I am a royal priest in the earth. A Masterā€™s Perfect WorkšŸŗ[2] ā€”how you see it. ā€œAnd we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lordā€™s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.ā€ 2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV Until we open the scriptures to see what God has done for us and who we are in Christ, we will live in ignorance of our blessings. The background of our opening text establishes that, we who are in Christ no longer have our eyes veiled to the message God was sending through the Old Testament; that he would give us eternal life in Christ. Today we stand in the reality of that promise. We are born of God through faith, we have his life in us. How does this become evident in our living? Our opening scripture reveals a key. It says; having our eyes unveiled, if we will continue to contemplate (look into, ponder) the Lordā€™s glory (what he revealed by his word), we will see the same glory manifesting in our lives, just as he said. Not all who have their eyes unveiled contemplate the Lordā€™s glory. You have to decide to contemplate. Look into the perfect law of liberty. You will see all that God has called you to be manifesting before your eyes. It is one of the new creationā€™s reaction to the word of God. You manifest as you look. Affirm With every glance at the word of God, in every moment spent in meditation and thinking about his word, Iā€™m truly seeing who he has made me. And Iā€™m being transformed to manifest more and more of his glory. Hallelujah! LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day7ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.

A Masterā€™s Perfect WorkšŸŗ[1] ā€”complete in Christ. ā€œFor in Him (Christ) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.ā€ Colossians 2:9-10 NKJV The background of this scripture was Apostle Paul trying to enlighten the church in colosse about how they should continue to live their new life in Christ by faith in the finished work of God. And not be swayed by false teachers who were demanding them to fulfill certain religious practices in order to be accepted before God. The amazing truth is that, in making us complete without any deficiencies in Christ, God didnā€™t start with us. He made Christ the perfect model for the new creation, then through faith we were born after the same likeness. So God is not perfecting his work in us, He has already made us after the image of Christ. Verse 12 of the text says; ā€œhaving been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.ā€ He raised us with him, the same life in Christ is the same life in you. For once and forever, God has made us complete in Christ. Hallelujah Affirm I am made after the image of Christ. God has put in me all that I require for a life that reveals his glory. I do not think of myself as needing anything. I am the evidence of the Masterā€™s perfect work. LIGHT UPšŸ’” Day6ļøāƒ£..December, 2023.
