I just remembered a nice job searching tip a friend of mine shared with me once: if a job description requires 1 year of experience, it most probably means the company is willing to consider people with no experience at all. Having any job experience, understanding of the role goals, and solid common sense will suffice. So keep that in mind when you see some of the entry positions that require 1 year of experience and don't hesitate to apply for them. Emphasize your strengths when applying for such positions.
