Hello, happy people! As I started applying for jobs in crypto industry, I started getting inquiries from other crypto companies to share their jobs in my channel. So today is for Guardarian. They see their mission as driving cryptocurrency adoption, providing services that make using crypto simple and convenient. I’m very cautious when posting jobs in the crypto industry. So I dared to interrogate their representative about the terms and work ethics. They are willing to provide a fair pay, official employment with relocation to Tallinn, Estonia or fully remote. They are willing to pay either in fiat or crypto. The company is profitable and not yet funded by outside investors. Although they sound legit to me I have to warn you to double check the terms of the contract for yourself and be very cautious when applying, interviewing and committing to anything with any companies from this channel as I don’t get to read the contracts. Consult with your lawyer if necessary on any terms that don’t make sense to you. Github is to shut down its job board the Github Jobs. “We’ve seen that most of the positions listed on GitHub Jobs are already posted elsewhere, and most developers who use GitHub are looking elsewhere. While I’ve started searching for a new job, it is time to dust off and revision the checklist for Independent Contract Agreement I’ve been working on for some time now. It is still a WIP and I welcome all comments and corrections. I’m hoping it will be of use to others instead of just sitting in my drafts folder. I was gonna charge a cup of coffee price for it but decided to distribute it for free so that more people could benefit from it. My main point here is while being a contractor, you can still negotiate certain benefits with the company you are interviewing for. It is in company’s interest that you are well rested and productive while doing your work. Disclaimer#1: I’m talking about full-time contractors, not freelancers or short-term contractors.
