Dear Colleagues, We are excited to inform you about a new initiative launched by Women Count for Central Asia countries for creative talents who are interested to develop art products using the story behind the numbers. In partnership with School of Data from Kyrgyzstan we have launched a call for applications to join our gender data art residency “Art-Kazan: Where art meets gender data”. I kindly request your support in publishing the call on your channels (GTG, UN RC, etc.) but also widely to disseminate among your partners, networks, creative/art community who fits well into the requested profile and may be interested in the initiative. Empowering Leaders of Tomorrow: Highlights from the TIMUN Conference 2023 Tashkent International Model UN Conference 2023 was held between the 1st-3rd December 2023 at Westminster International University in Tashkent supported by Artel Electronics LLC, the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Uzbekistan, the UN Population Fund, UN Women, and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. The Biggest Model UN Conference in Central Asia comprising 11 different UN Committees and gathered more than 550 young leaders from 12 countries, including all 12 regions of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The TIMUN Conference 2023 was organized with the concept of "One UN" under the slogan "Together for a Better World, Together for SDGs #LeaveNoOneBehind". TIMUN serves as a platform for young people to develop leadership, communication, diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking skills as well as to raise awareness about global challenges and the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals.
