WAFF Announcements

Hey, furs! I hope you’ve all had a great week post WAFF. We are still slowly recovering from the PCD and getting back into the swing of normal life once again. So, our photography team did struggle to get everyone in a perfect layout and some suiters may be hidden in the photo. Our team will endeavour to do better next year and plan for such numbers. We want to thank all the attendees for making this year’s WAFF bigger and better than any other year we have had. The hotel informed us they received lots of interest and good comments from the public during the weekend. Their staff loved the event, and we will be sitting down with them to start looking at dates for next year. POST CON SURVEYS! Please keep an eye on your emails, as we will be sending out the post-con survey to get your thoughts on this year’s WAFF. This should be sent out within the next week. All attendees will receive one through their registered email, and Dealers will receive a dealer-specific one too. This is your chance to let us know how your experience at WAFF 2022 went, and an opportunity for us to find out what we can improve, what we can keep and what we can trim from our schedule to help us deliver a bigger, better, con next year. But first, our team at WAFF is going to take a much-deserved rest. All their hard work made this year amazing, and we appreciate each & every one of them. Enjoy your rest everyone! Also, if anyone who attended WAFF this year, has tested positive for COVID, please let us know so we can inform others to get tested to mitigate any spread. Either PM an admin in the telegram official chat, or email us at info@waff.net.au. So far, we have received no reports of COVID being caught over the weekend at the con. But such things do take time to reveal themselves, so keep us informed so we can help you all stay safe. We do wish to thank you all for following our Mask rules during the weekend, for using the sanitiser stations, and for providing your proof of vaccination at check-in. It is with everyone’s co-operation that we have been able to keep each other as safe as possible. We love you all! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and a great Spring!
