Alhamdulillah, things are really moving in a positive direction with QARI’s new building! 🤲 We are getting close! Next Saturday, August 22nd, insha’Allah, will be our FINAL building cleanout. After months of hard work, we are finally at the finish line of this phase. We recently met with the architect, and he expects to finalize the layout during the week of August 24th. We’re also meeting with the engineer this week to address the remaining structural issues and begin developing the mechanical and electrical plans. Step by step, Allah is opening the doors, and we are getting closer to seeing this building transformed into the home we have envisioned for QARI — a place of Qur’an, knowledge, community, and benefit, insha’Allah. We want to sincerely thank every single person who has supported this project with your wealth, your du‘a, your time, and your hard work. And a special thank you to everyone who has literally rolled up their sleeves and come out to help with the cleanup. May Allah reward you abundantly and place barakah in every contribution you have made. Now, we need your help to finish strong! 💪 For this FINAL cleanout this Saturday, we need at least 5 people for each shift: 🕘 9:00 AM–1:00 PM 🕐 1:00 PM–5:00 PM Even if you can’t stay for the entire shift, please come for whatever time you can. An hour or two, a full shift — every set of hands makes a difference. In shaa Allah, we can provide you with a table, tablecloth, books, Qur’ans, and other da’wah materials to help you get started. We encourage everyone to complete da’wah training before going out to give da’wah so that you have the knowledge and skills to represent Islam correctly. However, even if you’re not yet ready to engage in detailed conversations, you can still participate by distributing Qur’ans, pamphlets, and other beneficial materials, helping to convey the message of Islam. As the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Convey from me, even if it is only one verse.” (بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً) For those who are able to commit consistently, there may also be an opportunity to receive hourly compensation for the time spent at the da’wah table, depending on availability and need.
