Mira 💜 One of our headmates drew her own sona (most share variants of the doe maney) When she first showed up she was an almost non-verbal trauma carrier and a little (a child identifying DID alternate identity). It was a very rough awakening for us and she remembers much in my childhood with more clarity than I. She's grown a lot and is very happy critter now, preferring a small creature form, she still has a lot of childish ditzy tendencies but prefers to identify as an adult. She's one of our proudest achievements and stands as an inspiration to all other system members— if the little creature can overcome the frequent panics, the rest of us can too ;u;. I feel blessed by my many friends that showed her love when we needed it most :>

some designs fall together, others need you to get really nitty gritty with a model and orthographs

there's still a couple tweaks that need to be done but getting this design spruce-up and ref done was a very long term project years in the making that we're very happy to have put to canvas :3

Maney and Nil's Nalya~

The first was a drawing done by Marina over the course of several hours trying to interpret Merryn's mental image of himsself. The second is something Merryn doodled in 15 minutes and looks a lot more accurate. Since then we've typically had a headmate draw themselves An interesting tidbit about DID is that skills and preferences can be different between headmates- marina and merryn have very different tastes in art and marina definitely draws better. but through the dissociative barrier she just wasn't able to interpret Merryn correctly. I find that particularly fascinating, as it's easy for me to dismiss how much amnesia and barriers between eachother we're experiencing on a regular basis retrospectively, it's become a lot more obvious that some of my bad art days have been because we're using the wrong headmate for the wrong job. some of them can't draw certain subjects or perspectives or draw very well at all. We're having to learn to work together in interesting ways to compromise both on style and technique and preference for what the finished piece even looks like No wonder I could never make up my fucking mind lmao

Concepts of Merryn's design, one of my headmates that came pre-baked as a dragon. I remember wanting to be one (to the point of distress) as a small child and I guess he carries that part

I intended to make maney doe stickers but never got around to it in the wake of my system discovery. I'll revisit them once life and funds allow
