Marina exploring her own style~ before we knew we have DID, each part of ourselves has felt some level of obligation to have our work be consistent. this has caused a lot of us to never get a chance to explore or express what we want as individuals because another system member would inevitably come along and change everything or get angry because the artwork isnt to their own tastes, unaware they weren't the one drawing it necessarily, but another part of the self Our co-host, marina, has long time been one of the main mane artists but has not had a lot of room to explore who she is. her role is naturally very secretarial and her own needs and desires are repressed and overshadowed by trying to appease the others', without even noticing it now that we're aware of it we try to give eachother as much respect for her own desires as we can We've already been offering marley specific commissions because her style is so different and notable. Marina may be another one such as she continues to explore ❤️

Another Ref for one of our headmates, Merryn.~ When he first made himself known to our system he was a very angry persecutor, feeling unheard for years. (this is a pretty standard experience, people with DID can experience angry voices nitpicking all of their decisions). After some therapy and heart-to-heart, Mayna (the host) and Merryn had a deeply profound moment of connection, understanding, and forgiveness. Since then he's stepped up to the plate and is consistently one of our friends' favorite flavors of Maney Most of our system has therian/critter feelings but been human identifying and then want in on the fursona thing and take that as their primary identity. Merryn came pre-baked as a titty dragon, likely remnants from a ""phase"" I had as a child where I wanted to be a dragon so hard that it hurt (species+gender dysphoria). He also had barney colors, lmao. We all find it extremely therapeutic to shape our own self images as whatever we want in this chaotic mind
