V Remember, remember The 5th of November When traces of Ember Flew in the sky and all over Do not think it is forever But remember, remember The 5th of November As government threatens verdict And says things so easy to predict We think it is a vice to resist And we leave out of our dictionary, a word called persist It brings liberation But you have to be enslaved It promises freedom But first you've to be chained That is how it works, you are a fool if you want change I am telling a lie, and I know that you are confused. Because I am a writer, and I lie to tell the truth. They are cheaters, as they lie to calm the youth. While I am an artist, who vouches for what is true, They are a bunch of slavers, who sell their lies to you. So listen clear if you want to live Know that there is a difference between what you believe And what they want you to believe Cause all they do is hand temporary relief And take your opinion, along with your belief And you hear them preaching About your nation, as if you own it And they act like they are reaching Out to your problem, as if they know it And believe me you'll be hyped By this insincere raid And I know you'll get high When they lied and said you'd get paid Trust me you'll be a fool Who believes everything that is said And that is how they want you to be For that is how they can get away Away with every lie They spring off to a beautiful sunset As you are stuck in the suffering of a long day You'll be left in the darkness And tied with a debt you'll die if you don't pay Such a theft of happiness. So far we can agree that the government is a cunt But did you know it made its own cult And act like a bandage, for a self made cut? And you, my people, are so holy You believe this nonsense, Thinking how great they are and how you're lowly Wish I had this much trust, I would not have been so lonely And then they come with wings One is the left, the other is the right The left lies and says it vouches for what is right It vows to protect and fight for everyone's rights It does so by handing chains and naming them freedom And the right acts up by saying it protects what is left It brings moral as a curtain, to hide its people from its theft. It bestows equal pain for all to suffer, so that death will be the only rest And here you are, my poor people Your heads tilting from side to side With every second, a dilation in your pupils You seem to enjoy it, as if it is a fun ride All you had was a vision, But it's gone, I'm afraid you've gone blind And I blame the government That is a fact I could not hide I would be lying if I deny that it lied And from early childhood you were taught lies And in the end you are told that it is bad to lie You were taught to worship the king and be obedient As they freely took your right, an act so deviant. My message to the government is loud and clear, And there will be no need for clues It is dashed with disobedience, alongside a hint of fuck you They can read this and kill me, I honestly don't mind For I'm more than just flesh and bones, I'm with an idea I call mine And believe me when I say this I will have spread this word, before you find any traces For you've made the people fight, from gender to races Now it's time for us to chase you, make sure you tie your laces Inspired by the movie 'V for Vendetta' #writtenwednesdays

Vehicles Sirens wail, Everyday. Silence fails, Hear the pain. Feel the pain of those who cry, See the ways of those who die.
Vehicles Sirens wail, Everyday. Silence fails, Hear the pain. Feel the pain of those who cry, See the ways of those who die. You look disgusted, You look disturbed. You won't discuss it, You won't revert. Instead you succumb to your emotions, Instead your come to your conclusions. Yeah, you run from your introspections, You won't learn from true perceptions. Will you face the problem? No, you say you can't fathom, You say you can't fathom the reason, You blame the problem on the season. You fire fighting vehicles, You lie siting oracles! Oh, how your sirens wail, Sounds when trains derail, Loud when they lose their trail. You won't save the world, I'm afraid, It's too late for words that would fail. #writtenwednesdays

Wake Up Call Woken up by a sound, Who could it be? Broken up so loud, Losing deep sleep. Was a call from a friend, Heard it's all but the end. "The end of what?" My questions start. "The end of the world" A friend's only word. Staggered with fear, struck with awe, I was confused. Matters what's real, luck is flaw, He just about knew. Concerned I reach, angered they screech, Tempers flew. I tried, I tried, And I tried They cried, then lied, To their sides. I observed their oblivion, Wondering where I'm on. Been right there with them! The longer they close their eyes, the quicker their deaths, The stronger the number dies, the harder to pay debts. "Wake up!" I summon, "Shut up!" they sermon. And so I leave the house, running. They'll be late to get out, burning. #writtenwednesdays
