عسكرة إسرائيل لباب المندب أدركت إسرائيل منذ وقت مبكر أهمية الممرات المائية، فعملت على السيطرة على عدد من المنافذ والموانئ الاستراتيجية إما بالاحتلال المباشر، أو بالتنسيق والتحالف مع بعض الدول المطلة على الممرات والمنافذ البحرية الاستراتيجية، ومنها مضيق باب المندب على المدخل الجنوبي للبحر الأحمر. في هذه الدراسة نحاول الوقوف على رؤية إسرائيل للأمن المائي في البحار والممرات المحيطة بها عامة، وفي جنوب البحر الأحمر وباب المندب بشكل خاص، مع تسليط الضوء على الواقع الراهن في المنطقة التي باتت تتزاحم فيها القواعد العسكرية للدول العظمى وعلى رأسها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية- أكبر وأبرز حلفاء إسرائيل وداعميها، مع الإشارة إلى الظروف التي تعيشها المنطقة في ظل التصعيد الإيراني- عبر الحوثيين، والتوتر الذي بات يسيطر على أهم ممرات الملاحة والتجارة الدولية في باب المندب. https://abaadstudies.org/strategies/topic/60091

Abaad, University of Saba Region Sign Cooperation Agreement Abaad Studies and Research Center and University of Saba Region signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation. Abaad Launches Updated Website with Five New Studies on Yemen & the Region Abaad Studies and Research Center launched its new website: an updated version of the older website that was launched in 2017. For six years, the Center has published more than 200 studies including ( Situation Assessment, Case Analysis, Geopolitics, Fıles, and Case Report(, in both Arabic and English, in addition to monitoring and translation services since 2022. Despite the war that actually led to suspending the functioning of the center between 2015-2017, the new website has incorporated some of the archived publications of the center since its inauguration in 2011. Impact of the War on Gaza on Regional and International Security in the Southern Red Sea This study examines the impact of the Israeli escalation in Gaza on regional and international security and navigation in the southern Red Sea, especially in the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait. This region had witnessed mutual escalation in the past two years. Experts and observers viewed those skirmishes as 'shadow war' or 'ship war' between Israel and its allies on the one hand and Iran and its local proxies on the other. Implications of the Saudi-UAE Differences for Yemen's Peace Process Saudi-UAE relations have always been complex, and are marked by fluctuations and disagreements. Fluctuating between cooperation and conflict, relations between the two countries have always been governed by border issues, competition and even jealousy. As far as the Yemeni issue is concerned, disagreements between the two countries revolve around competition for influence and the gains of war. The Russian Role in the Yemeni Crisis: Incentives and Obstacles This study highlights Russia's role in and position towards the Yemeni political crisis. The significance of the study derives from the fact that the conflict in Yemen has not yet ended. Although the China-brokered regional reconciliation between Tehran and Riyadh last March, with the active assistance of Russia, resulted in what could be described as freezing armed confrontations between the Houthis and legitimate Yemeni government forces. However, without commencing an intra-Yemeni political dialogue based on the three internationally recognized references, it will be difficult to predict the exact outcomes of the crisis in Yemen.
