Athi River Residents Raise Alarm Over Roads and Raw Sewage
Residents of Athi River are appealing to the Machakos County Government to urgently address the deteriorating state of roads and sewerage infrastructure in the town.
According to a resident, the Devki–Pepe/Soko–Vanilla road is in poor condition, with sections dug up and left incomplete.
The bigger concern is the sewerage system. The residents say several areas lack proper sewer lines and drainage, and that a sewer burst at the market has left raw sewage flowing across the area.
The complaint also raises concerns about the condition of roads around Mavoko Level 4 Hospital and the county offices towards KMC, which are extremely difficult to access.
The resident is calling on Governor Wavinya Ndeti and the Mavoko authorities to visit the affected areas and address the situation.

Hello Nyakundi,
I am seeking help to expose a scam involving Ezrinity Limited, an agency that presents itself as helping Kenyans secure jobs and travel opportunities abroad.
I personally engaged Ezra Ongati Magiya, who owns and operates the agency, and paid KSh380,000. My cousin also paid KSh380,000 after being promised assistance with going abroad.
Despite receiving the money, we have not received the services we paid for, and attempts to get our money back have not yielded results.
We believe there may be other people who have had similar experiences with the agency. We are calling on anyone who has dealt with Ezrinity Limited or Ezra Ongati Magiya and believes they were similarly affected to come forward and share their experience.
We are appealing to the relevant authorities to investigate and take appropriate action.

The DPP has charged two more suspects over the Sh1.5 billion fraud at the Programme for Rural Outreach of Financial Innovations and Technologies (PROFIT), bringing the total number of accused persons to 15.
