Ramadān Reflections #13: Where do you place your money? Imām Ibn ul-Qayyim said: “When there is money in your hand and not in your heart, it will not harm you even if it is a lot; and when it is in your heart, it will harm you even if there is none in your hands.” [Madārij al-Sālikīn | 1/463] Action plan: - Always show gratitude to Allāh for the wealth he has provided you, even if it is a little. - Be aware of the state of your heart so it does not fall in love with wealth. - Spend in charity for the sake of Allāh. Ramadān Reflections #12: How to Assess the State of Your Heart? Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said, “Seek out your heart in three places: [1] When listening to the Qur’ān, [2] in the gatherings of [Allāh’s] remembrance [circles of knowledge], and [3] when [alone] in privacy, If you do not find it in these places, then ask Allāh to grant you a heart – for verily, you do not have one.” See Al-Fawā’id [p. 479] Memorise the following supplications: يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ “O Turner of the hearts, affirm my heart upon Your religion.” اللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ قَلْبِي وَعَمَلِي “O Allāh rectify my heart and my action” اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ “O Allāh, purify my heart from every evil.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl 📚 https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Ramadān Reflections #10: Supplications for Paradise To Memorise The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Whoever asks Allāh for Paradise three times, Paradise will say: O Allāh, admit him into Paradise! Whoever seeks protection from Hellfire three times, Hellfire will say: O Allāh, save him from the Hellfire!” Sunan Tirmidhī [no. 2572]. Supplication no. 1: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ رِضَاكَ وَالجَنَّةَ O Allāh, I ask of Your pleasure and for Paradise. Supplication no. 2: اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْني الْجَنَّة O Allāh, enter me into the Paradise. Supplication no. 3: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ O Allāh, I ask of You for Paradise and that which brings me closer to it of statements or actions. 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl DONATE NOW: LaunchGood.com/Ibrahim-the-ansar

Ramadān Reminders #3: Forgiveness: The Path to Allāh Imām Ibn Taymīyyah said: “Asking for Allāh’s forgiveness is more important than any other supplications.” Jāmi’ Al-Masā’il [6277] "Repentance is not a moment, but a journey, one we must walk every day, and even more so in Ramadān, the month where the gates of mercy are flung open. Let us return to Him like never before, with hearts that tremble and souls desperate for His mercy. Start now by saying: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ Astaghfirullāha wa atūbu ilayh - I seek the forgiveness of Allāh and repent to Him.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl DONATE NOW: LaunchGood.com/Ibrahim-the-ansar

Ramadān Reflections #2: The Honour of Allāh’s Remembrance “We have all heard the verse being recited in Tarawih: فَٱذۡكُرُونِيٓ أَذۡكُرۡكُمۡ “So remember Me; I will remember you.” (2:152) Make time in Ramadān to sit in solitude, hearts humbled, tongues moist with His praise. For the greatest honour is not to be known by people, but to be remembered by Allāh.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl LaunchGood.com/Ibrahim-the-ansar

Ramadān Reflections #1: The Blessing of Those Who Sit Beside Us ”Cherish every Iftār with your loved ones, for we never truly value a moment until it becomes a memory. Sit with them, serve them, and embrace their presence. Tomorrow, their smile may only live as a memory, so make today count. So many of our Ummah have lost their families, their tables empty and their hearts in pain. Be grateful for the warmth around you, for the hands you still get to hold, and for the voices that still call your name.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl LaunchGood.com/Ibrahim-the-ansar

Awaiting the Moon One Last Time “Take a moment to reflect, this could be the last time we wait for the news that the moon has been sighted, the last time we feel the excitement of Ramadān’s arrival. The month of mercy and forgiveness may be hours away, but will we see it again? Let us make this Ramadān the best one in our lives. Remember those who were with us in past Ramadāns but are no longer here. Make du’ā for them, for one day, it will be us, and others will say, ‘I miss breaking my fast with so and so.’ Let us cherish this Ramadān as if it is our last.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Embrace Ramadān Like It’s Your Last ”Ramadān is approaching, and we do not know if we will live to see it or if it will be our last. So let us not waste a moment. Let us fast each day with sincerity, as though it’s our final fast. Read the Qur’ān not just with our eyes, but with our hearts, let its words purify us. Stand in Tarawīh as if it’s our last night in prayer. Let our hearts race towards Allāh, longing to meet Him, for the greatest blessing is not just in witnessing Ramadān, but in leaving it forgiven and with His acceptance.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

The Struggle Within: The Three Types of Hearts 1️⃣ A Sound [Healthy] Heart [القلب السليم]: A heart devoted to Allāh alone. It: ❖ Loves, hopes, and relies on Allāh. ❖ Forgives others for His sake. ❖ Controls anger and desires for Him. ❖ Shows humility and kindness to all. 2️⃣ A Dead Heart [القلب الميت]: A heart enslaved to desires. It: ❖ Seeks only self-pleasure. ❖ A slave of its own desires. ❖ Chases wealth, even through ḥarām means. ❖ Lacks faith and sincerity. 3️⃣ A Sick Heart [القلب المريض]: A heart torn between truth and desires. It: ❖ Loves Allāh but also clings to worldly temptations. ❖ Has sincerity but at the same time, also loves the desires and prefers them. 📖 Lagāthatul Lahfān by Ibn Al-Qayyim Action Plan: Read the following supplication: اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ “O Allāh purify my heart from every evil.” Abū Ismā’īl 📚https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Trust the Qadr [Decree] of Allāh Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Be pleased with everything that Allāh does with you. For indeed He does not prevent you except to give you. He does not test you except to protect and save you. He does not give you ill health except to cure you.” Madārij as-Sālikīn [2/208] “What we grieve over today may be the very thing that strengthens our faith tomorrow. Trust the Qadr of Allāh, for He sees what we do not, knows what we cannot, and guides us even through what we fear. Sometimes, the door that closes is His mercy shielding us, and the pain we feel is Him pulling us closer.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Fallen Tyrants: The Power of Allāh's Justice "The Quraysh once threw camel intestines onto the back of the Prophet ﷺ as he lay in prostration, mocking him while his young daughter Fātimah wept, wiping away their cruelty. He got up and said: 'O Allāh! Destroy the chiefs of Quraysh.' Years later, those same tyrants were struck down at Badr, defeated by the very truth they had ridiculed. Do not be deceived by the power of today's oppressors, for the Du'a of the wronged never go unheard. When Allāh, the Most Just, responds, no fortress will shield them, no throne will save them, and no army will protect them. The same Lord who gave victory to our Prophet ﷺ will grant victory to every believer who struggles in His cause. Oppressors may rise, but Allāh’s justice will bring them to their knees, no tyranny lasts forever." Abū Ismā'īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Friday: A Day of Unity & Celebration “Verily, Allāh has made this day of Friday a celebration for the Muslims. It is not just a day of prayer, but a day of unity, where we all march to Salāh together, strengthen our ranks, and fill our gatherings with goodness. So let us revive its blessings, come together, exchange smiles, spread Salām to each other, and remind one another of the beauty of this Dīn. Let our children feel its honour with small treats, so they grow up loving the day that Allāh has chosen. A believer’s heart should come alive on Jumu‘ah. Let it be a day of celebration and togetherness.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️https://t.me/abuismailnotes

A Heart That Sees Good, Spreads Good ”Those who cannot see good in others often become quick to judge and blind to mercy. But a true believer is different, our faith teaches us to search for goodness, to make excuses, and to pray for those who stumble rather than rejoice in their fall. We do not mock, nor envy, nor belittle others because we know that the one we look down upon today may surpass us tomorrow in closeness to Allāh. A heart that carries īmān is a heart that carries mercy. Be that heart.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Jannah Is Not Earned in the Comfort Zone “Shayṭān doesn’t always whisper to sin openly, sometimes he weakens us with ease and comfort of this Dunya. He makes us content with just existing, whispering that there is no urgency to strive for Allāh, that others will carry the burden, that we have earned our rest while the Ummah suffers. But Jannah is not for those who remain in their comfort zones. It is for those who strive, who sacrifice, who stand when others sit, and give when others withhold. So ask yourself: Are you striving for Allāh, or settling for ease? Do not let comfort rob you of your Hereafter.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Success is in Sincerity, Not Spotlight "Beware of 'Ujb [self-amazement], for it is a silent disease that creeps into the heart of the caller to truth. When the eyes turn to followers, likes and the heart craves recognition, sincerity begins to fade. The Salaf would flee from fame, knowing it can destroy the heart and ruin good deeds. True success is not in being known, it is in being accepted by Allāh. Seek His pleasure, not the praise of people, for what is celebrated today may hold no weight on the Scale tomorrow." “The Qur’ān never changes, yet every time you return to it, it speaks to you in a new way because you have changed. For the lost, it is light. For the broken, it is healing. For the seeker, it is guidance. And for the one yearning for Jannah, it is the path that leads there. Sometimes it awakens you with a warning, other times it soothes you with mercy but it always gives you exactly what your heart needs. Open it, and let it find you where you are in life.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes
